Accumulate Daily specials then ship at once

got an idea! Is there a way that we could put daily specials in our shopping cart and buy them later. Or even pay for them, and wait to ship til you get a bigger package. I would buy more of the specials if I could combine them and maybe buy a few specials at once to save on shipping, seems silly to pay all the seperate shipping. Just a thought.

Great idea... Unfortunately someone came up with the same idea a couple of weeks ago.

It's just not feasible at this time for Adams to offer this service.

it would be somewhat of a pain, but I would buy more of the daily specials if so. Plus the wife wouldn't see a new package every week, maybe just every couple or few weeks! lol

As Chris said they discussed this, but the logistics would be a nightmare. Hence the idea of the "Daily Special". Its a roll of the dice as to what it will be, so for now you will just have to pay all the shipping.. Sorry

I must have missed that discusion, not biggie. Just a thought I had when I didn't buy a special because of shipping, giving feedback as to why I didn't order something and what would have possibly gotten me to buy it.

I will order again, but these daily specials are so tempting, just wish they could be consolidated, maybe that defeats the purpose though! haha, trying to get the add on buy with cheap buy! I get it, I own a business myself, haha

It has come up more than once and I remember someone had a good way of handling it. They would build up a bunch of products they wanted in their wish list and when they saw a daily special they liked they would buy the items in their wish list AND the Daily Special.

They would just drop an item from their wish list if it was included in the Special.

I asked about this a while ago and since then its been posted over and over and the answer has always been No but some Dealers will do it for you.

Its not feasible guys... the motivation in the end is for you to buy other stuff. In many cases Daily Specials barely cover costs, and in some cases LOSE us money. They exist to encourage customers to pull the trigger on the other things they have been wanting too.

We love giving you guys a deal, but in the end this little business has to turn a profit so my family, Adam's Family, Ash, and the warehouse team can eat and have a roof over our heads. If we allowed you to simply stockpile specials overtime our bottom line takes a hit.

Besides that our site software isn't robust enough to really accommodate that kind of operation, it puts a strain on the warehouse to sort the orders, and weight adds cost to shipping. I'm sure many people who suggest this are assuming it would work without adding shipping charges, but on our end for every bit of weight thats added theres more cost to us to ship it. So look at it this way:

Monday you get a special that has a (3) 16oz bottles... weight around 3lbs.
Tuesday you get a special that has a gallon and a towel... weight around 8lbs.
Wednesday you get a special for a fender brush... awkward package size.

Now we'll have only collected shipping charges for 3lbs worth of product, but we'll be paying to ship around 12lbs in an oversize box.

I get where you guys are coming from, and I can see why you'd want it, but realize that the operational side of the business just doesn't allow for it and for us to continue to turn a profit.
