Good news for me!

Wednesday on my way home from work I got a call from the Rocket City Camaros club here in Huntsville. He asked if I'd be willing to be a guest speaker at one of their monthly meetings. I said, " Sure. When?". He said " Thursday".
I owe a special thanks to KickToTheJunk for the referral.

So yesterday I got off early gave the Ram a 2 bucket and put Brilliant Glaze on all the chrome. No way was I going to show up at a Camaro club meeting, to talk about the proper way to detail, in a dirty Mopar.

I packed 2 Adam's bags with as much stuff as I possibly could. I took some samples of Detail Spray and Waterless Wash, catalogs, DVDs, and a door prize of SVRT with an applicator.

It turns out there were 3 members there that already use Adam's and had no idea there was a dealer right here in town. One of them only lives about 3 miles from me. There were about 4-5 that aren't adam's users want me to detail their Camaros. This is, I think, a direct result of me showing them the pic of Dylan's brother's Camaro. Dylan, I definitely owe you that beer.

They (Camaro club) are going to hook me up with the local Mustang club and one of the local Corvette clubs. This is the break I've been waiting for.

I was hoping for this kind of interest when I joined the local Mopar club but all they are is a bunch of older men that sit around and talk about when the 426 hemi was king of the track. No offense SRTLUVR. Not that that's a bad thing but they just have no interest in a swirl free finish.

Anyway enough rambling. I'm just really excited as to where this is going.

Nice man, way to go. Definately props to your bud for hooking you up.

Word of mouth is definately the way to go. I gave a couple of buddies a simple price list flier, and before I new it, I acutally had to tell people that I couldn't get them in for a while.
