...because it will make your shine go deep.
![]() What you are looking at is the rear quarter-panel of my 2001 Corvette Coupe. Here's the kicker. There is no wax on this section of the car yet. I went around the car and hit spots where swirls and scratches had developed from just driving the car. What a lot of folks don't understand is that if you touch the paint with the slightest amount of dust on the car, you grind that dust into the paint and this starts the swirl and scratch process. If you drive your car with any frequency, this is just the nature of the beast. However, there is a solution to get rid of those nasty imperfections. That being the Adam's Swirl and Haze remover. I got these results with one pass in each area with a white pad and my Flex orbital buffer. It took about 3 minutes in each section that I hit (keep in mind that my paint is already in good condition because of the methods that I use to wash and wax it). One section were I started waxing it immediately got deeper but I'm saving that for my video series that I doing on Adam's products. I wanted to show this, just to give you an idea of what your paint can look like. The color of my paint is Navy Blue Metallic but you can see how it does an excellent job at reflecting the Kentucky fall season. Notice that the paint's reflection rivals the reflection off the hatch glass (upper left-hand corner). Deep my fellow detailers..... deeeeeeeeeeeeep. ![]() The Junkman

Nice job, Junkman. Question: how much pressure are you putting on the buffer when you're hitting that area? My NBM coupe has a lot of scuffs/swirls in that area, too, and I for the life of me can't seem to get them out.

Hey Rich, I used a Flex orbital and the amount of pressure that you apply with that monster is not much. Unlike the PC, it will throw you across the car before it will bog down. Since it is a orbital polisher, it won't burn the paint even if you do stop in one place as long as you don't get crazy with it. You may need to get a more aggressive compound if your swirls are really bad but I would try the Flex first. That thing is like the PC on steroids. It definitely cut my work time in half.

Too bad you're not closer. I'd love to bust out a quarter-panel full of swirls just to show you how easy it is!
