Default St. Louis area!

Just checking on the area's band of brothers/sisters. If you're on the east side the usual hangout (for me, anyway) is Whitey's Cigar Shop in Maryville, IL. I work in St. Louis but tend to avoid the city otherwise.

I have experience in general detailing and preparation (wash, clay, tape), rotary polish, interior detailing (vacuum, extraction, stain removal), general touch-up and wet-sanding, and dabble in a hundred other things. The only thing I can't do detailing-wise (yet) is odor removal...and that's only because I haven't gotten an ionizer (or ozone generator) yet.

Anyway...someday when it isn't -40 outside I'd be down for some kind of "detailing day" if everyone would want to gather and learn from one another. This spring/summer I expect to have a LOT more free time for fun things like this.

Hi Logan! Sounds like you've done a bit of detailing. There's a lot of us like you waiting for spring to get out there and get our babies shined up.
Glad to have you.

That would be pretty darn cool! I'm hoping to get a lull this summer between work and school so the sunny months should see me with a bit more time to hold a polisher in my hand instead of a calculator.

I'm also in Saint Louis. South County area and have been working at waterway for 3 years. Started my own little detail business on the side stealing waterway's products, and now learning the right way to clean cars and doing it correctly.

Just purchased a PC and lookin for advice and help when i go to try this bad boy out of my 95 5.0 stang... shes mint with 18k miles. any help would be awsome as to what pads to use, and other important details.
