Today, I get to work on the NAPA truck that Chip Foose built! The thing is covered with swirls and Chip would probably smack somebody if he saw it. The funny thing is Chip is in my hometown right now attending the Hot Rod Nationals, which is about 3 miles from my house. Dang! The weather has been cooperating for the most part. The nights have been top down crusing temperatures. Here's Steve, Greg and Allen (from New Zealand) doing their thing! Some clean rides at the show. The chicken skewers were delicious! Someone brought this beast to me and it was a swirly mess! Check it out: But you all know how I roll. It took some agressive polishing to get rid of this damage. Here's Adam getting down and dirty! Dylan doing a 50/50 comparison on a Corvette. We are staying at the Grand Sierra Resort. You walk out the door and you're practically at out booth. We have primo real estate! Well AJ, After completion, this truck went on tour of the NAPAs in the US that wanted to pay to have it there. Then someone wacked the top off, pulled the NAPA Engines Display engine from the rear and all the Sponsor stickers off the bottom rockers. So yea I could say its been abused. This is what it looked like on Overhauling when it was done.. But I'm sure you will make it look STELLAR as usual! Oh and no this did not come to my stores.. They wanted $2500 PLUS .50 a mile for every mile between the last stop and me! Not a worthy investment.. I have had the OCC Napa Bike at a raffle and that was cool.. If I had a flat I was going to have to call a tow truck!! Guy working the local store let me try their 21mm Ultra Pro series socket. Fit like it was engineered for it.
