I have it a good hosing off already. George Last edited by Mook@Adams; 01-31-2012 at 08:26 AM.. Reason: Proper name of product. SVRT, do not want any confusion being had. |

I would not - I don't want to run the risk of getting it all through my microfibers.
I would soak the SVRT applicator in a bucket with All Purpose Cleaner in it, but not put a used SVRT applicator in a washing machine. |

I like for my applicator to be clean....but it doesn't need to be washing machine clean, ya know? Plus I don't want it mingling with my microfibers.

Then rinse with hot water after a good soaking...then double over a paper towel and put the applicator between the towel, and smash it down a couple times. This will remove all the water for faster drying, and also clean up some of the SVRT a bit. Your paper towel will have black on it, but it's a good judge of dirty or clean you are getting your applicator. I do this with the pro tire app, I don't use the block applicators. Like Doug said, really not worth all the cross contamination of putting it in the washer.

Just spray it down with All Purpose Cleaner, rub in with your fingers and rinse. No need to thrown the SVRT pads in with towels.

NOOOOOOO!
Foam accessories should not be machine washed, and definitely don't mix them with towels. Hand clean all your applicators with the method Anthony mentioned. All Purpose Cleaner, scrub, rinse, air dry. When in doubt you can always refer to the videos: <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/0PQabUpVZes?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

If I had a dollar for every time I hand washed my SVRT tire applicator... I'd have one dollar.
