  1. Thanks Dave. Adam I will get you some pics soon. Thanks guys.
  2. I'm sure if you call them they can price you on one of those. They are very helpful from that perspective.
  3. Yep I'd go touchless all the way. You could pre treat any heavy soiled areas with WW or the Rinseless diuted solution and that should help. You could even go into the coin op and do Touchless in there the same way. If the car has a good LSP, you should be able to knock a lot of junk off of it that way. I have my DD protected with Buttery Wax along with Quick Sealant and Liquid Paint Sealant in places. Those seem to keep most dirt from sticking to where I can hit it with the coin op rinse and take care of most of it.
  4. Guys I wanted to check that my approach to getting my rims back looking good is correct. Long story short, I have a 2000 Lexus Ls 400 and the rims are hammered by the multiple runs through the automated wash. I just got the drill backing plate and did a test spot using a cordless Dewalt 20v drill with the 4 inch orange foam pad with swirl and haze remover. I followed up with the white foam pad and fine machine polish. It looked much better. Didnt seem to have any buffer marks etc. Just wondering if this is the proper method to get those swirls out of the rims. Most of the posts about rims I found on the forum with searches were bare metal, but these are factory cleared I believe. Especially since metal polish didnt test well on them.
  5. They had a new decal that just had an A on it I think. Seems like MJB posted it on IG and asked for feedback. I thought it looked pretty sweet.
  6. I used the method mentioned by Adam and achieved a massive improvement on the roof of my 2000 LS 400. Should have taken before and after pics, but my camera is down and the iphone camera is garbage. Regardless, it worked well for me.
  7. I ordered some sprayers a few weeks back and received the solid black spray heads.
  8. Yep I hit the floor mats in my car. Should have taken before and after pics. The Adams Carpet and Upholstry cleaner along with the brush on the PC absolutely killed it!
  9. Glad I saw this post. Think I will use the PC for carpet duty.
  10. Oh yeah it is a quality brush. Had mine for several years and it still looks relatively new.
  11. You bet. Would you believe there is a three bucket wash method which would actually make yours a three plus one? There was a video of it a while ago, not sure it still exists. Anyway, sounds like you are definitely a fanatic and well ahead of where I was when I first ordered some of the Adams product line. I consider myself OCD about my cars. I detail my own cars and some cars of friends and family for a little extra cash. A coworker put me onto it years ago and I have come miles from where I was in knowing how to keep my black cars looking right. One thing about Adams is you get what you pay for. I know it is a bit more price wise, but I'll tell you the three key things in my opinion that set them apart: 1) Product performance 2) Product support 3) Dedication to the customer. The third one is probably the most important. This company from the top down wants you to be happy. It seems like such a simple concept, but so many companies miss that target by a million miles and really couldnt care less because of the quantity versus quality ideals. I work for a company that is built on the same principle of putting the customer first so it is easy for me to key in on that when I see it in action. They are loyal to me as a customer and I am loyal in return. I may be going a bit overboard here, but just really enjoy this stuff! Welcome to the family Rick!
  12. You will love SVRT. It makes the tires look so nice. I agree with Chase and Jason the main products you need to look at going forward would be Detail Spray, Car Shampoo, a wash mitt and Rinseless Wash. Oh and two buckets with the grit guards ard a must. All those allow you to keep swirls to a minimum. Then youll want to progress to paint protection and possibly correction. It becomes a battle against paint damage. I guarantee this place will educate you and help you with the proper weapons and methods to keep you ride in great shape. You will not find a more responsive or knowledgeable group of detail fanatics.
  13. Wondered the same thing. Maybe they been too busy with everything else? Nice Vette btw
  14. Adam would you guys ever think about renting out the Cyclo to people like this person? Maybe you could do a rental fleet and charge 50 per rental with a security deposit and specific terms to ensure the unit is covered against someone not returning it in time like Redbox does on DVDs. Just a thought.
  15. So did anything come of this? You guys still need reviews? I agree with coach Ditka.
  16. I would buy it, but then again I buy anything Adams comes out with. Never disappointed.
  17. While I agree with what everyone is saying, the product I have used which will remain nameless saves a ton of time and provides a very good amount of protection. Just a thought. I know people want to go the extra mile, but sometimes you want the best option given less time. I can wash a car with a two bucket wash and add sealant in about the same amount of time it takes to just wash and dry the vehicle.
  18. I have the QS and LPS. Both work great. However I am talking specifically about a water activated variety express sealant.
  19. Adams team, I have noticed there are some express sealants on the market. Seeing how well they work first hand, I wanted to ask if you guys might release one.
  20. Adam, Thanks for giving me the inside info. I guess what you are saying sort of aligns with my train of thought. I buy gallons all the time, but I go through them slower than I anticipate. So I was thinking half that much would be a better fit for me from a usage perspective. But at the gallon price point gallons are close to 1/4 the cost by volume so I would rather pay more to save more in the long run even if it means having an older version for a bit longer. I still have a gallon of the original DS. I will probably never use it.
