  1. TheWolf, thank you! I can't believe I missed that in the video.
  2. I'm wondering if In & Out spray have any UV protection, like VRT? Is it true that In & Out spray is just an aerosol version of VRT?
  3. Wely324, did you polish your stuff by hand or use a machine?
  4. If I would have noticed the scratches before leaving I definitely would have said something. But it was all covered with the tire goo they use when installing new tires until I washed the rim at home. It was Discount Tire I went to. Usually they have been very good with taking care not to scratches my rums in the past. Maybe because this time I dropped it off instead of waiting for it like I normally do.
  5. I assume it's real chrome. The wheels is solid, not some plated crap. Thanks for the tips when polishing! I'll give it a try.
  6. These are chrome wheels from Factory Reproduction. They aren't clear coated.
  7. I got a flat tire repaired and the shop put some light scratches in one of my chrome wheels. Not deep enough for my fingernail to catch, they are fairly light. Can these be buffed out with Adam's Metal polish #1 or #2?
  8. I don't mean to hijack the thread, but does the Leather conditioner ever go old over time? I have a 16oz bottle I got back in 2014 and it's about half full and seems very thick. It doesn't flow out like a liquid (ie: SVRT), but more of a pasty liquid. Does this means its getting old and needs to be replaced?
  9. Great idea to use masking tape next time! And thank you for the replys. I'll try the wd40 and see how it works.
  10. I just went to the track this past weekend and after 5 passes with a burnout each time, I've got rubber all over my rear quarter panels. I was able to knock off about 80% of it by hand. But is there an easy and safe way to remove the rest? Should I use wd40 and treat it like road tar?
  11. I'm having a hard time beliving that only 1 manufacturer in all of the US can produce foam applicators.
