  1. I know or at least I hope my wife isn't the first that wondered how well the jumbo plush microfiber towel would work as a normal bath towel and or hair towel. What say your wife or significant other? I guess this is "detail" related right?!?!
  2. Custom Design Engineer for Philips Lighting in the outdoor sector (street lighting, underwater, landscape, led, hid, halogen, induction lighting. http://metalabstudio.com/blog/detail/philips-hadco-ringo that is my latest project, should be finished shipping my the end of next month. Basically they gave us some drawings of what they were looking for and i designed it all in solidworks then our foundry sand cast all the parts that we could (lower volume under 1000 pieces or it would have been diecast).
  3. Obviously i didn't read all 24 pages, but...who all is on Untappd? You can find me "Sturgis Kyle" Basically it facebook for beer people, you check your beer in and rate it. You can comment on people beers, like them etc, but best of all you get badges for what you drink. I know, i know, it like you are joining the boy scouts of beer Personally my favorite brewery is Dogfish Head, we have been going there every year for the past 8 years for vacation. My favorite beer style currently is sours, and i can get more into that if you have questions. Cheers!
  4. Got it but it's been too hot out to use it. I am glad I saw the post about the door handle damage (not happy it happened) but I will be adding some sponge tape to prevent that from happening to me
  5. I would love to tell you that was the case but I grew up in frostburg md, moved here when I was 17 and now I am 30. Of course I grew up around HD my dad has owned a few and still does but I have stayed away from bike do to my interest in speed. I am in process of selecting a bike to start a cafe racer. I'm not sure if I want to go with an old school approach or go with a modern take on old school from Cleveland cycleworks or pick up a triumph and start a new build. Prior to picking up the gti in 06 I looked at getting a zx6r or a r6 but when I left the dealership my Honda acted up (it was pissed I didn't look at a Honda) so I ended up with the gti I still have my lt250r Suzuki quad racer when I want to fast offroad
  6. The look can be deceiving its a gti with a jetta front color matched side markers and OEM tinted rears with stock suspension. Pop the hood it has an intake and pcv bypass. What you can't see is the stage 2 revo tune, 3"down pipe and a fully build transmission with a wavetrac LSD, clutchmasters fx350, 034 shift forks, raxles race axles...so it's looks great honestly people that change their suspension for looks have no idea how capable the stock suspension is bwcause it lacks a LSD. I highly recommend wavetrac over quaife or peliquin. All of that is based on my previous car where I spent all my money on suspension. Next next year is a coilover suspension that will be cornered weighted, followed up the next year with a full blow rebuild and a bigger turbo. Mind you this is my daily driver
  7. I actually am the president of our townhouse hoa and the boards stance is that as long as it doesn't violate the township noise regulations you may do as you please. With that said I personally do all my work starting around 6pm just because the front of our house is in the sun all morning and afternoon.
  8. Thank you guys! Just order the Complete Cyclo Polisher kit, couldnt pass up the 15% discount!ADAM'S COMPLETE CYCLO POLISHER KIT
  9. Greetings from York Recently the wife and i picked up a 13 Touareg TDI LUX, and i told her if we are spending that much money on a car i am done with "Over the counter" products! After trolling the detailing forums for a few weeks i decided to start my detailing kit off with Adam's Essential kit! After the kit arrived i proceeded to watch the DVD few times to make sure everything would go as smoothly as possible. My first project was on my 06 MK5 GTI which at best it was washed a few times a year by hand and waxed once or if it was lucky twice a year, so i would consider it neglected, however,as you can see by the pictures everything came out quite well considering i do not have a machine polisher yet. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151635674078961.1073741835.501563960&type=1&l=a8641f124d Also, if anyone in the york area ever needs to use Ross-tech VCDS (Vag-Com) my rates are typically a 6 pack of beer much lower than the cost of a dealer scan! Cheers, Sturgis
