  1. As far as the linting from the towels go, use the the suede ones to remove the coating and then go over it with the microfiber towel to remove any ceramic left on the paint. Works awesome !!
  2. Take it slow, different grade clay is not going to make that much of a difference. You mentioned tree sap? Is that what it is? If so, Isopropyl Alcohol on a good microfiber towel and or ceramic coating prep will remove it, plus everything else, so you will have to reapply wax/ceramic to that area. Pics ??
  3. With the beginning of covid etc going on back then, it probably got looked over, but like life, it goes on. I can remember the days when Adams sold ONLY American made products, Dylan was around, Sever Swirl Remover used to blow dust all over everything, etc etc. My how times change.
  4. Still have one bottle left, up for any type of trade......
  5. I will see you guys there ! Trailers loaded and heading out on Thursday.
  6. Would you trade one of the ceramic bottles of wax for the 20 th anniversary detail spray?
  7. Completely open, what ya got?
  8. These two bottles can be traded individually as well. Didn't want anyone to think they had to take them both. TY
  9. Then you must need some to add to your collection. I know you have something fun to trade.....
  10. I have 2 unopened bottles of ceramic liquid wax. Open for any kind of trade !! Let me know what you got !!
  11. Time to throw out that other stuff ! Shine in a bottle, one of my favorite Adams items !!
  12. So, I just received my bottle (2 actually, one to use and one to save) and I guess its come full circle. Pictured is my 12 year old unused original bottle of Adams cherry car shampoo ! Same scent although not as strong being old. Kinda cool having both or I'm just getting old. LOL
  13. Do not use a da if have not wet sanded before. By hand in my opinion lets you "feel" the paint (clearcoat) better and when you get used to the feel you know how far to go or not. DEFINETLEY practice on a hood, quarter panel, etc. which you can get from any body shop or junk yard. If you look at the first pic and see the orange peel in the paint, the second pic you can see it fading away and the light has more of a straight look to it, so you know you're getting close. Again, a one-shot deal and no turning back once you started. It took me 30 or so hours to completely wet sand, buff, etc to get my car perfect. People told me I was crazy to do it till they saw the end result. The car has no orange peel or scratches for that matter and that's the way its staying!!
  14. Do you have a paint thickness gauge? Thats a good place to start especially on a car that has been painted previously. As mentioned, go slow, test spot, buff it out, and see where you land. To much and your up the creek without a paddle ! 1000,1500,2000,2500 and smooth out with 3-5000 and a lot of water, tape, and patience!! Here are some pics of my 2013 Shelby I did. Scary beginning but stunning results.
  15. I also love Total Interior Cleaner, but I will say it can be a little harsh on some plastic interior parts, turning them white if overused. Great smell !! Never run into any issues with Interior cleaner, with or without the Microban, one of my all-time favs for sure, not as versatile but works great as well
  16. Interesting. Will keep an eye on it. If so, strip it off and coat it with? What would cause it to cloud on bare metal? I have one wheel left to coat. For SNG's should I coat last remaining wheel with something different after polishing to see if any difference? Let me know
  17. With stupid cold temps over here outside, it was time to get going on my summer rims. They are on my daily driver F250 so they do get a little beat over the summer months. I used Adam's metal polish with mothers power ball, and a drill. Used Adams coating prep and finished them off with Adams Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating. About an hour per rim. Came out great! Here are some before, during, and after pics.
  18. TY. Was a brand new motorhome that was hammered by the company who applied some kind of sealant. Ya right !!
  19. Start with a good bath. Try claying some of the paint and see how far it takes you. Simple wax etc will make it look way better, machine polishing is possible but only if you have done it before ! Original is not original when you buff through the paint !!
  20. 50.00? 29.99 new when available. Ouch
  21. Here are some pics of some Grey vehicles with some nice shine. BRILLIANT GLAZE, shine in a bottle !! Most toped with Americana or Buttery Wax, but the base is all about Brilliant Glaze, or can be used as a topper. Dont forget, Slick and Slide too !!
