  1. Hey there, I recently purchased the Adam's Foam Cannon and after confirming that my pressure washer met the psi and gpm requirements, I proceeded with my purchase. I was pretty excited to get my new car detail started when I found out that my foam cannon would not connect to my pressure washer. I tried both at the tip by changing out the nozzle and at the base at the end of the hose, but just couldn't get it to work. This is my pressure washer: http://www.sears.com/craftsman-1-700-psi-1.3-gpm-electric-pressure-washer/p-07175031000P Does anyone have a solution that will get me on the right track? Perhaps there is an adapter either for my pressure washer or for the foam cannon that is available? Thanks! Nick
  2. I'm sure you're right. I probably just haven't really dealt with a hard clear coat before so this seems like it's harder than it probably is.
  3. I have Tuxedo Black Metallic on my Raptor...absolutely love it! I keep it protected with QS and Buttery. The flake is gorgeous in the sun: shades of orange, red, and gold. But you must take care of it. I've seen plenty of black Raptors that looked trashed in a few years after wheeling. And Mook, I'm no expert, but is the clear really that soft? It seems much more durable than my last truck: Galaxy Black Nissan Titan. And much harder than my dad's Obsidian Lexus GS350.
  4. Sweet project; those HREs will be a nice touch.
  5. Looks good! Those LED DRLs are sweet! I can just imagine what this puppy looks like with some black wheels...congrats!
  6. Awesome...these guys literally have the best job in the world.
  7. Thanks for sharing; I'm liking these new Trailhawks.
  8. Just beat story mode this past weekend. And this game surely does not disappoint.
  9. Thanks guys! Very pleased with how it turned out. Although it rained today, the beads were in full effect (pictures to come) and it will shine up very nicely. And although I do like the stock Raptor graphics, I plan to add a little touch of my own personality with bed graphics in the future. And eventually the bumpers and fender flares will be wrapped in satin black to match the truck better while still adding a bit of contrast.
  10. Finally got around to doing a full detail on my 2013 Raptor. Process: 2-Bucket Wash with Adam's Shampoo and Adam's Buckets with Grit Guards Brand X Iron Decontamination Thorough rinse and dry with Adam's GWDT Adam's All New Clay Bar and Detail Spray with Adam's Single Soft Towel Adam's Revive Hand Polish with Adam's "Old School Blue" Single Soft Towel Adam's Quick Sealant with Single Soft Towel Adam's Brilliant Glaze with Double Soft Towel Adam's Buttery Wax with Double Soft Towel Adam's Glass Cleaner with Single Soft Towel on all windows Adam's SVRT on tires and trim Pictures: (all photos are unedited except for license plate) Overall: This is my first time doing a full detail with Adam's. I'm very pleased with the quality of the products and ease of use. Detail took 9 hours, but clearly the results were worth it.
  11. Awesome. If you haven't read Alex Roy's book on the previous record, I highly recommend it.
  12. When claying the windshield, should I use Adam's Glass Cleaner or Detail Spray? If I use the Glass Cleaner, will I still be able to use that same piece of clay on the paint with Detail Spray? Thanks.
