  1. Hello fellow Austinite! The kit you outlined seems fine, you'll just buy more throughout the year anyway. Anyone that posts on the forums is already lost -Don
  2. My Stingray is an LT1 Z51, so some fun track upgrades but none of the windshield fun like the HUD.
  3. I'm on a replacement window for my Stingray. The new windshield was 2 days old when I got a small chip in it. Since then I've added a couple more. Fortunately none are in my line of sight. But my eye is still drawn to them. Stupid rock chips! The window is a safelite replacements, maybe I'll have em look at it to see if it can be filled.
  4. I look forward to the end result!

    FOAM PARTY

oooh, I just got some of that, looks like I'll go full wash this weekend instead of rinseless for fun.
  6. I use the Husky tool chests from home depot like those in shane@detailedreflections' post. Looks very similar in that I put all the 'liquid' items laying flat in a large drawer. The 'paste' items I keep in the house as the garage isn't climate controlled and I'm in Texas. It's all in that cabinet on the right.. with gallon jugs in the large drawers at the bottom. Otherwise looks like Shane's post above.
  7. OCDRifter I used the Adams paint coating about a year ago. and I didn't win a giveaway. I looked around and saw a Dan Hupp won the pumpkin spice kit, now I'm jealous ?
  8. Thought I'd share a habit of mine that y'all may appreciate / laugh at. I have a blue 2016 Vette that I lovingly care for, but drive every day. This means sometimes it gets, brace yourselves, rained upon well, I bought a master blaster earlier in the year and one time after driving the car home in the rain looked at the master blaster on the wall, and back at my wet car sitting in the garage and had a thought. Couldn't I just blow all that nasty rain water off? I mean it is ceramic coated so the rain and road dirt has been just sheeting off anyway. Well, yep sure can, and it works pretty darn well... assuming it was raining steadily. Blows all that dirty rain water right off. Lots of folks ask about the effectiveness of the paint coating and the usefulness of the master blaster. For me this exemplifies both.
  9. Yeah, that's pretty true from my experience too. Which made me laugh the first time I sprayed the car down after applying the ceramic coating kit. "why isn't this?...what's wrong with my.... OH! cool." it still stuck around enough to be useful, just didn't turn my car into a white puffball. Good news is that dirt doesn't stick very well either.
  10. I pulled off at a buc-ees to remove the carcass of a suicidal bug from my hood. I my have also gotten some jerkey and a root beer. But I couldn look at that bug any longer and yep, detail spray and single soft in the vette's secret compartment
  11. Mine is 10 months old, still working. I've applied the boost twice since and it has been awesome.

Came here for Tommy Boy link, was not disappointed.
  13. I use the blue shampoo or rinseless depending on how dirty it is. The ceramic coating makes the car so easy to clean. Some boost every couple months ( maybe some Brilliant Glaze if I'm taking it to the track or other show off opportunity;) The coating has been on for 10 months and still working well.
