  1. I'll order some Revive and give it try. Will report back with results. Thanks for the input guys.
  2. It did not turn black. Still think I should try a polish with pad?
  3. It is real chrome and it is on a 2010 Infiniti FX50. The spots are completely flat as compared to the rest of the trim. There appears to be no pitting or raised portions. It honestly looks like a stain. I have tried wheel cleaner, chrome and metal polish, even tried the old tin foil trick. Nothing is even making it slightly better.
  4. So I have a problem with some chrome trim.It is most likely from rust, please see attached picture. I have tried a few different methods and products but this stuff is in the finish good. You cant feel the spots to the touch at all. Any advice?
  5. I would just do a vinyl wrap on these. They will keep scratching over and over again, it is a lost cause. The good thing about wrap is you can easily do it solo if you just have some patience and it won't swirl on you.
  6. Just Adams paint correction polishes. I applied the buttery wax to the paint after completion but the pictures are just after the polish, no wax was added at that point.
  7. I used a regular old porter cable. You will feel your hands vibrating for hours after use but it does the job well.
  8. Thanks for the feedback guys. I will be doing a full correction on my wife's FX50 soon and will post results. Her paint is in much much better shape so should be a lot less work.
  9. I'm using the 2 bucket system, car shampoo, Adam's wash mitt and drying towel currently. Hopefully that will be enough to keep the swirls away as I would hate to have to do another correction anytime soon.
  10. Did a full paint correction on my 06 Jeep SRT8. The paint was in horrible condition, swirls were present over the entirety of the car with many deep scratches and imperfections. The process took about 13 hours start to finish but results turned out well. The finished pictures are before wax was done, they just show the paint correction itself.
