With the recent release of the new Adam's website and a few products (re-branded pressure washer) I've noticed some major push back on Facebook about the direction of the company. I have to agree. I've been a huge supporter and advocate of this company for several years now, but I'm starting to think they have abandoned the true detailing community for high profit sales. There was a time when Adam did not want to sell items made in China (now it seems everything they sell is), he was also involved in the forums and detailing community, as well as the strict development of quality products. Also it seems since the exit of Dylan, this company has declined quite quickly. I know I'm not alone, but I fear no one on this forum will back me. Thoughts?

And if they fell off, you can always put them back on lol

Time for an aftermarket bumper! I had a front and rear steel bumpers on my Raptor and let me tell you, people thought twice about cutting me off, tailgating, or getting too close in general. Sorry for the hit man.

Tire and Rubber Cleaner works great for weather techs. Every so often I pull all mine out and scrub them.

Depends on the coating brand. I have a non Adams coating, and I have 3 separate drying aids I can use. A product similar to Ceramic Boost, a solution of that product and a product similar to Detail Spray, as well as a solution diluted to be used as Waterless or DS. I use them all at separate intervals, but I always use one to refresh the coating. 

Great pictures!  Worked on a few this size on back up generators when working for a Detroit Diesel distributor. I may have to show these images this week to my Soldiers when going over Precision Instruments in my Axle Rebuild Class.

Awesome. Sounds like a fun job for sure. Really impressed with the size of those. I did forget the RPM, being that large it would take lots of torque to get those pistons moving. I have built a few small single piston engines and my break-in procedure is fresh oil, run the motor at certain RPMs, but don’t allow it to idle for prolong periods of time until you know the rings are seated, dump the oil and go racing. I laugh because the pistons I’m dealing with are like 1/1500 scale of those monsters. Plus your dealing with tons of torque and a low rpm motor, if it’s diesel which I assume it is. Thanks for sharing. 

Joe got a little fed up with a lot the blossoming B.S. here, in particular the serious mystery box whiners, just for a start. The direction of the company really irked several of us loyalists, and he's one that just kind of moved on. Maybe he'll wander back eventually, but we'll see. 

New doors went in today!  We waited 5 months for them.  Now I just have a bunch of finish work.  All the glass opens on the inside like you see in the last picture.  First picture is the front door.  Second is the back door.  Third as mentioned previously just shows how the glass opens and they are stainless steel screened.

Not today specifically, but us in the engine department did a full piston swap on one of the main engine's cylinders this week. Check out the size of this thing! The liner is 622mm in diameter.. yes thats me inside taking measurements lol. Second pic is the 1st and 2nd swinging the exhaust valve and head off to the side. Luckily that was low running hours so we didn't need to do anything with that. Took us 2 days to do this job from beginning to end.

I’ll have to pick up a hat when I get home in a couple months. My kids have paws but that’s good enough for me for now!
