Hey All -
So I recently purchased a black 2006 MDX, fairly certain this vehicle didn't receive a whole lot of love on the exterior even though the interior is immaculate. Luckily, no clear coat peeling so I am trying to preserve it while I can.
The hood, side mirrors, windshield and front bumper all have these little white dots everywhere - hand washing and the adams clay didn't remove them - a fingernail will however remove these white dots and the paint is fine underneath.
The rest of the vehicle - roof, doors, rear hatch etc - all cleaned up very nicely after correcting polish, finishing polish and sealant were applied. I didn't wan't to apply those products on the panels in question until I determine how to remove whatever this mess is on the hood windshield and mirrors.
Here's an example image:
A buddy suggested rubbing compound and several pounds of pressure to remove them - haven't tried that yet.
Thanks!
