Blue > orange > white in terms of aggressiveness of correction in simple terms. Just my 2 cents, but if the vehicle is garage kept, why didn't you choose a high end wax (Americana or Patriot)? LPS is a lot longer lasting protection but on a black vehicle it will look noticeably more "wet" with a paste wax.

Wash and wax completely replace regular car shampoo?
Sugar replied to Erictski's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
That was worded very poorly by me haha. I meant if you were to use gloss and guard would ITS longevity be reduced by whatever barrier is created by the wash and wax? I'm curious to this because I know topping G&G over a wax will cause a reduction in how long the G&G lasts (to my understanding). -

Does wash and wax reduce longevity if you were to dry using H2OG&G? -
I have always tried to go to this and it never worked out. I will for sure this year. Its only about 45 mins from my place. Grabiak is actually where I first found out about Adam's products. I will try to be there for sure!

Tried some new products

Need more mystery boxes so I can keep buying them until I get glaze too -
Is there a reason to use the Adam's strip wash? I have always used dawn typically for stripping before paint correction. What benefit is there to buying a dedicated strip wash vs other methods like APC/shampoo or dawn?

I cant wait to try the glaze...i hate cleaning the interior windshield. I was really surprised how well the tire and rubber cleaner worked too! -
Any protection on my new car already?
Sugar replied to modawg2k's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
Nothing probably. I would treat it as a blank canvas and just start with a strip wash, clay, correction if needed, seal/wax. And if they washed/waxed it, have fun with the swirl marks. -
Need some ideas please.

Here is a newer post in the library too: http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/28890-ask-the-shine-doc-ep-11-engine-bay-detailing-what-to-cover/ Really good comparision of a stock, slightly modified and heavilly modified engine bay process. Remember, these cars are designed to be driven in a torrential downpour. Open the engine bay after a heavy rain and see how wet it all is. -
Storing adams products in the winter
Sugar replied to mike c4's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I lost a few products (shampoo, quick detailer, leather conditioner) last year. Didn't realize how bad of an effect cold had on them! Definitely bring inside for the winter.
