  1. Very good guys! Thanks for the info and quick responses. I guess I’m going to go through this spray bottle quickly! Is VRT or the tire shine water based?
  2. I've had the same issues with the Rubber cleaner. I detailed my car and applied the rubber cleaner per directions..let it sit on for a minute or two and agitated it with a tire brush. I then sprayed it off and watched a lot of brown mess wash off. Every time I use the product, after my tires dry they look worse than before I applied the rubber cleaner. Am I doing anything wrong? Should I let it sit on the tire for a longer duration etc? I feel the brushing or agitating maybe is spreading the tire blooming? Thanks! Trying to have my tires look new without using any gloss etc.
  3. Thanks Shane for the quick response! The coating went on amazing. Ill post some pics when I get it out of the garage. It's still curing. I have some Reload that was given to me by a friend that had some extra. I figured it would be safe in the same way the Ceramic Boost is. I wanted to double check.
  4. Is it safe to put a SiO2 spray over the ceramic coating? Will it enhance in the same way Ceramic Boost would or deteriorate the finish? Finally what is a good soap to use for maintenance washes? Adams Shampoo? Thanks for any info!
  5. I'm about to finally apply the ceramic coating from Adams. I also purchased the Finishing polish for the correction process. Do I still need to use the coating prep in between the finishing polish and applying the coating? Will the coating prep diminish any of the shine produced by the finishing polish? I know some competitor products go hand in hand and save the step of needing to prep in between steps. I just want to make sure I'm doing the correct steps with the Adam's products. Thanks again!
  6. Oh yes it's already been clayed. It definitely removed some of the transportation junk that got on there. Overall very pleased with the condition so far of the paint.
  7. Hey guys, I've been buying random products from Adam's for a few years now and have been very impressed with the customer support and product. I have been heavily researching ceramic coatings for awhile now, but wanted to apply it myself due to enjoying car detailing. I decided to go with Adam's paint coating kit. Looking forward to applying it and what appears to be an easier application vs competitors. Hopefully Ill have a few pics to post this month when I get around to polishing my 4Runner and applying the coating. This forum looks like a great wealth of information. Cheers!
  8. Thanks guys! There are only 2 small places one on the back quarter panel and on the hatch. I only noticed it after detailing in the garage last week looking at the paint under light. I was afraid that the orange correcting polish could do more damage than good to the rest of the paint that is otherwise looking great vs using a finishing polish.
  9. Hi, I purchased a new car and am planning to apply the ceramic coating to it. The paint is pretty much perfect only a few very small areas of light swirls that are nearly imperceptible. What would be the best polish to use on a good finish prior to applying the Adams coating? I was leaning towards the finishing polish as this is the least aggressive polish I could find. Also after this polish I would still use the kit paint prep prior to applying the ceramic coating? My vehicle is a Toyota 4Runner which I think has a softer clear coat. Thanks for any info!
