  1. Thanks Dan! The Shop Vac works, I just wasn't sure if there was something else out there. I haven't tried the stone for the pet hair yet, maybe I will have to try out since my Jeep has tons of dog hair in it. The removing stains was going to be my next questions for what everyone uses, the Carpet & Upholstery in the spotless cleaner sounds like a great idea! I have one of these for the house, guess I will pick up another for the vehicles! Thank you!
  2. Was looking for everyone's opinion on best vacuum for interior? Currently I just use a shop vac but wasn't sure if there is a better one out there that may pick up dirt/dog hair better? Thanks!
  3. I never used to know anything about detailing cars, and didn't even care to learn! I used to have a 2011 Dodge Challenger that I loved and I would take it to a drive up car wash and then spray some cheap spray on wax all over it and was completely satisfied. A few vehicles and a few years later, my wife bought me a gallon of Adams car shampoo, a bucket and a foam gun last Christmas.. and I have been hooked ever since. The love for using Adams products and learning more about detailing increased over the last few months when we bought my wife a brand new 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, it was my clean slate for detailing. Now, I order about a package of stuff every two weeks and am always out organizing all my stuff, doing whatever detailing/cleaning I can in our vehicles during the day. I truly enjoy detailing now and it has become a new hobby of mine thanks to Adams. Rant over.
  4. This post originally came up on my Instagram, and I commented on your photo asking what you used! I just did my sons carseat today and it turned out great! Thanks for sharing!
  5. Thanks for the tips! I just wasn't sure if the ceramic coating now was the best idea since it will be sitting on a boat/truck for about 30 days heading back to the mainland and if that would take a tole on the coating. I will probably head by the Adams dealer out here this week anyways either for the paint sealer or to see how much the ceramic job is from them. Last time I went in he did mention this would be the easiest and best time to do it when it's brand new.
  6. What do you recommend using after claying a brand new car? Unfortunately I do not have a polisher yet. I have thought about getting a ceramic coat done, although i am sure it is a little more expensive here in Hawaii. We do have an authorized Adams dealer though who does it. But I also figured since I will be shipping it back to the mainland in less than a year, I just should wait. I tried searching for a post on here about first detail of a new car, didn't see anything. Any tips would be great!
  7. Yes, Air Force. Will be heading out of here mid next year. Thanks for the heads up about claying!
  8. Hello everyone, I am Dylan, currently living on Oahu, Hawaii. I am pretty new to the detail word. I picked up my first Adams product about 6 months ago and have been hooked ever since. I currently have a 2014 Jeep Wrangler with plenty of modifications that I usually don't do any intense detailing to, although I may soon. But I did just purchase a new 2018 Grand Cherokee for my wife last month that has given me a nice clean slate for detailing . I have watched just about every Adams video there is, and am hoping to learn much, much more on this forum from you all!
