  1. The smell is not horrible and I don't notice it at all unless I am spraying it. I think if you keep the sprayer closed (X) the smell will be minimized.
  2. Thanks everybody for the help. I ordered some of the GSC, GDS, GTD and GS. That should set me up for the Kona. I do have another semi-related question though. My MGB has a vinyl Convertible top, tonneau and half tonneau. Would it be beneficial to use GSC on those? I was just going to use VRT but if I can use the Graphene and get better protection,....
  3. Welcome Brady! Don't feel like your the only one to have any of this happen. We could all fill a 1,000,000 page book with things like this. In fact I think there is a thread somewhere about these kind of happenings
  4. Thanks @Rich and @RayS. That was the way I was going but needed some confirmation I was on the right track. @RayS as far as following directions, thats not usually a problem as I am OCD about that. My wife and I go round and round every time we have something that we need to assemble. I will take the instructions and read them thoroughly then follow step by step while she (a retired USAF Civil Engineer) will just dig in and start assembly. @Rich I always put a lot of weight on someone from my part of PA! I was born in Pittsburgh! The Equinox looks great!!!!! What do you use on the trim (around bottom), the wheels and tires?
  5. My wife just purchased a 2021 Hyundai Kona (Black) as in the attached photo. My question revolves around Graphene products. With my classics and previous daily drivers, I have always used Americana Wax. Admittedly it has needed redone every few months on the daily driver but our daily drive doesnt get that much use (10k yearly at most). I have been considering going to the Graphene product line for this car but i have a fear of really screwing it up and with a black car that is my wifes well I really dont have a death wish. I would like to know peoples recommendations for use on this car and things like: Is the Spray coating easier to use? How hard is the trim to do (since this car has so much of it)? These are bright alloy wheels so is the spray coating good for them? PLUS, anything else you can think of to educate this old man on Graphene. TIA
  6. Bob, First, Hello to a fellow Pittsburgher! I was born and raised there but now live in York PA. As you can see by the pictures in my signature I have 3 older vehicles that I take care of. The Morris is a clear coat so it doesnt apply here. The 52 Chevy is the original paint and was (and to some extent still is) very imperfect. however, after polishing I did use Paint Sealant and H2O G&G and it is much better than I expected. The MGB was repainted about 25 years ago( I was told) but it is a single stage. After polishing, I used paint sealant and have used Americana over the top. I love the shine that gives. Mind you, all 3 cars are garage kept but, they are driven as much as possible (at least once a week each). They just dont see a lot of bad weather unless it rains while i am at a show or cruise (which has happened a lot more than I would have liked). Good luck and post some pics of the Catalina (my first car was a 67 Grand Prix convertible)
  7. Welcome Jeremiah! I checked out the FOTOmotive website. Some great pictures on there!
  8. Thanks Henry. I really love driving the Traveller. The Chevy is a real special car. its a 52 with 88k actual miles and is still 100% stock. I also have a 72 MGB that I just got and yet to detail and take pics of. One addiction feeds another. Love that truck of yours BTW.
  9. I hope that everyone has a very safe, Happy and Shiny 2021!
