Clay Bar for glass? (and painted wheels)
Bryman312 posted a question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
hello guys, quick question. i have HARD WATER from our sprinklers. VERY hard water. anyway my paint is spotted to hell. it'll need a full decontamination. i wash it often to get that crap off fast but its too late. my main question is can you use clay bar on the windows? all the hard water is on my passenger side so i only have 3 windows to do. and 2 wheels. if i can clay the glass, do i need to seal it afterwards? i already have some adams glass sealant from my last MB. or do you need to use something else? thanks for your input!! -
So my wife just pick me up a couple bottles of detail spray and I got to be honest the American Detail spray to me anyways does not smell like apple pie. it smells good but to me it kind of smells like a minty version of Bengay back rub. Not complaining but my nostrils don't smell apple pie at all. And it smells exactly like the Canada spray too. But I also got a bottle of pumpkin spice and yeah that stuff smells delicious

Bryman312 replied to Humanoid Typhoon's question in Wheels, Tires, Trim, & Undercarriage
really? well damn i was saturating the tire then scrubbing. is that wrong? so your just misting the stuff on THEN scrubbing? i figured it had to be soaked and stay wet then scrub. -

Bryman312 replied to Bryman312's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
thanks for the heads up i actually came across a 1.1 orifice late last night too! -
im thinking of picking up THIS Ryobi pressure washer. my question is this, can i get the Adams snub nose attachment to work with it? or will i just have to use the foam cannon with the Ryobi longer wand? it looks like the hose is threaded but the wand is quick connect.

HARD city water
Bryman312 replied to Bryman312's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
man that sucks....i can imagine a year of it would be a pain to remove. i try to catch it weekly LOL. but i figure after a good waxing itll be easier to remove it from the wax. or if i got a little longer let it ruin the wax job and not the paint -
Is the Foam Gun Worth It?
Bryman312 replied to pizano_luis's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
thanks for this post. i think ill be getting one too! -
so when washing my cars i use our hose. which is attached to our house water that runs through our softner system. HOWEVER our sprinkler system is non potable water and VERY hard. yesterday i got our sprinklers turned on and IMMEDIATLEY remembered our crappy hard water. my dark grey car looks like hell with the hard water spots!! when i got my car last year after about a week of sprinkler water hitting it i noticed the damned hard water. it would not come off. i searched around and found a 50/50 solution of apple vinegar/water mixture. it actually worked. but was a pain in the ***. so i need to get this car a waxing but will need to remove the current hard water spots. what do you all recommend in removing hard water spots?
