  1. If this is not in the right category please move. I'm recently retired, have always been a car nut and love to detail. I'm thinking of doing this as a extra income. Getting paid for doing something I enjoy. So how do you pro's start and how do you price a job. Or am I just nuts? 🙄 I respect any ideas or advice, Thank you
  2. Thank you for your help, now..... can you get rid of temp's in the teens and snow..... lots of snow......
  3. Experts, I have a 1980 Corvette White (non clear coat) it's a low mileage car (27K) always inside and covered. I kept it spotless for the 38 years I've owned it. It has been sealed with Zaino years ago and Tried some F11 this past summer. The car is a perfect example of the end of an era, my car was painted at a point where the workers where told the plant was closing and unless they wanted to relocate they would be out of a job. So quality control was not at it's highest. My car has drips and runs in many area's which I would never change because of this history. But one spot on the hood has a dri spot maybe a 10-12 inch oval, they just missed getting it wet. I have tried everything to try and bring it back to a nice gloss finish. It's not really noticeable but I know it's there. Some areas the paint is thin enough to see some of the primer. It has some checking going on but again you really have to look. Lot's of swirl marks from coatings (Wax / Polish ) over the years. It has never been repainted, all original. Do I dare do a paint correction on this finish or just leave it alone. Any and all suggestions are appreciated! Thank you, Al
  4. New to the Forums but not to the products. Just another car guy that like's to keep a nice clean (inside and out) vehicle. Love the products, spent some quality time at SEMA booth …..so much to see.... so much to buy...….so much to learn! Live at the base of the Adirondack's central NY. Very important to have good quality products that can protect your daily rides for 6 months. No heated garage and cold weather from November until April.
