No, you shouldn't. The new formula can get up to 4-6 months of average driving, so with reduced driving and use in the rain (less wiper use), it's safe to assume you'll see longer. Like Ray said, apply Glass Boost instead of more Glass Sealant and you'll extend its life, as well.

We get between 3 and 5 months with the wife's garage queen by using the glass boost about once a month.   My 24/7 outside truck gets 2 or 3 months with using boost about once a month.

When we travel,  take glass cleaner with me so I never have to use the harsh stuff at the gas stations and have found it helps with the longevity of the sealant.

Yea its the newer formula with sio2 in it.  It does last longer so I wouldn’t mix them.  But always up to you

It seems like we get one of these "Adam's isn't as great as it once was" posts every couple of months and it always stirs things up.

Here's a fact: The only constant in life is change.

Hey - I miss DvK, too. But he's gone.  He's moved on.  So has Adam's and so has this forum.

In the 10 years I've been using Adam's products the line has changed A LOT.   Some of it I use, and a lot of it I ignore.  Doesn't bother me in the slightest if they release a product I'm not interested in.  I just don't buy it.

This forum is designed to be a place where Adam's customers can come and ask questions that are answered by other Adam's customers, Adam's employees and - every one in a while - Adam himself. It is not a place for bashing Adam's products or practices or directions. There are plenty of places on the 'net where you can voice your displeasure with anything you like.  You'll have a lot of company.

It sucks that you felt disrespected by Adam's "vote with your dollars" comment but try to put yourself in his position. He has thousands of users that love his products and clamber for everything he produces and a handful of people not happy with the "direction" his company has gone.  I'm sure he gave you his opinion in a very respectful way but sometimes you have to just say, "Well - see ya later!"

I'll be the first to answer this:  Yes to either or both.

The general rule of thumb is the most durable product first, but in the case of BG it helps hide minor imperfections and in my experience it has not changed the durability of the products I have put it under.   When BG is on top, it will really make the vehicle pop, but it only lasts a couple of days.  Generally, when I'm putting BG on top, it is for the weekend or a show.

Don't forget to do the inside of your windshield and house mirrors, it does an amazing job on both.

I'm on the other side of the fence for use with PS...BG last. For use with wax either is fine. But I'm on the same side with BG on inside of the windshield.

    Here's more on layering.

For longer durability...6+ months, and quite a bit more especially when driven occasionally, PS and HGG is an awesome combo and will give you a lot of gloss on that silver. If you want sheer pop and a month or two of longevity in average conditions, Americana would be great, treated with DS whenever needed for extra shine and added protection. I also strongly recommend BG for either option when you really want to show off.

But @Chris@Adams is right... especially the Ceramic Waterless. Wow!
