Thanks for the response Ray! I looked into the gallon pumps that would fit the Adams jugs the best but then I came across another item. An on/off refill spout. I purchased 4 of these and actually used 1 tonight with my Wheel & Tire cleaner gallon jug. With the Adams funnel on my 16 oz bottle it worked perfectly! No mess. The on/off collar works a little stiff to control the flow but not too bad. I'm going to use this on my 4, less viscous, Adams products.

Google is probably your best friend for this solution just search for:  Gallon Pump Dispenser

You'll find many options and they are rather inexpensive, especially if you pick up a pack of 4 or larger.  Each one should last the life of the gallon and most of the time you can go through two or three gallons before they need replacing.

Note:  Don't move them between gallons, there are always chemicals left in the pump so once it goes in a gallon that is the only product it should be used for.

Its been a while since I posted, reviving an old thread…just wanted to post pic of my daily.  Original Adams ceramic coating applied 3 years ago.  Decon done once (annually).  Considering it was supposed to last up to two years..i think it looks pretty good!    I have Advanced coating waiting to get applied!!

It's pretty good stuff! I tested it during the R&D phase and used it with the Foam Cannon, as described, and really liked the immediate hydrophobics and the shine it adds. I've actually used it a couple of times, and I think you'll like it, too.

My wife and I made a quick trip to Wisconsin and it gave my brother-in-law an opportunity to show me his new Wash Bay.  Let's just say that it far exceeded anything I was expecting to see and it was not the most impressive thing that I saw that day.

The wash bay has a heated floor, the entire building is insulated, great lighting and the two black items in the ceilling are just 2 of the 4 in the building that are powered vents.   On the back wall, are the two pressure washers, one is connected to the soap dispenser and the other is clean water.   The entire system uses softened water and I am pretty sure that every piece of equipment he has will fit in there, height, width and length wise, just not all at the same time.

Wow...no one has posted in this thread since October?!?!!??!

I just picked up another roommate for the garage.  Ran across an uber clean 2005 GT that I literally couldn't walk away from.  It may end up being a car I flip, but couldn't pass it up.  I don't have the words to describe how clean and solid this car was for 18 years old and 105K miles.  It did need my touch on the paint.  It took a couple steps to get the paint "perfect", but I got it there.  It did need some detaling to the rest of the car and the engine, but detailing was literally all it needed.  Nothing cosmic.  The interior was soo good, almost didn't even need to touch it. I suck at before and after shots (I suck at photography anyways, but that's a separate thread).

This is your normal detailing products and steps finished up with the old orange Correction Polish on a white pad, the new Polish on a white pad, and finally the old white Finishing Polish on a black pad.  Topped with graphine ceramic spray coating (I've had better luck with the spray than the bottle).

The 1.1 orifice arrive and I had to test it out and the results were rather impressive.  It does make me wonder why it is an included option, especially how inexpensive it was and I did buy in bulk.   I appreciate the note in the forum and I'm sure it help others.

Thanks Rich for the note about the 1.1mm nozzle and I'll need to seriously consider adding it to my next order.   As for the rinse, I've used the pressure washer, many different nozzles for the hose and nothing has compared to the Fire Hose nozzle.  Now if I could just keep it in my area instead of being on the wife's hose for her plants it would be nice.

Hi Ray,  I have had an Adams foam gun for about 5 years (best guess) and I am sure its had less than 15 uses.  Just never really found much value it it as most everything I put on ran off. Maybe I am doing it wrong.  Just seemed like a lot of shampoo down the drain.

I finally got a chance to give the new pressure washer 2.0 a workout with the premium foam cannon. I did order a 1.1mm nozzle for it and I can say the difference is significant.  Would recommend the 1.1mm to anyone running a pressure washer with similar pressure/gpm.

I would say the cannon is going to make me change my normal wash process.

I tossed 3 pads in a bucket of water with grit guard but added no soap as I usually do.  Prepped the tires and wheels with normal chemicals and then foamed just tires and wheels with graphene shampoo. Finished wheels/tires and rinsed them off with pressure washer and gave the vehicle a quick pressure washer rinse to remove debris and clean fender wells. Once complete I snapped the foam cannon back on and foamed the truck.   Washed the truck using the 3 pads in the bucket and the shampoo hung the entire time. Have to say I have never felt I had more lubricity than this time.  The actual wash time was less but probably offset by the fact I had 3 pads to rinse out after.

The only thing I am undecided on is rinsing with the pressure washer. Not sure the value in that except for saving water. I like my Adams fire hose nozzle and is much quicker than the pressure washer and I feel does a better job.

I am considering going to a larger nozzle size on the pressure washer which will drop pressure and increase GPM.  Maybe that will help the rinse.

Overall I like the setup. Adams put a really nice hose and gun on the 2.0.

I have the older Adam's brushes and have used them for years on my Chevy and GMC wheels and tires.  The brushed have held up very well and the wheels continue to loo great.  I have been know to use them on the Mustang and no harm has come to the brushes or Mustang either.

While I agree it is more expensive than a product you can get in a Big Box store, you also have to consider the longevity of the product.  I also fully recognize the different price model between a consumer product that I'm using for myself and something a professional would use on a client's vehicle that is only there once in a while.

From a consumer or personal use standpoint, if the product lives up to the product details, it will actually cost less if it meets the 1 month longevity as advertised.

Based the cost of Product M from the big box store and Product A after the normal 15% discount and knowing that I get 6 vehicles from Product M per bottle and I suspect Product A will be about the same.

    Here are my calculations:
    M: $8 @ 6 vehicles = $1.33 per vehicle per use
    A: $12 @ 6 vehicles = $2.00 per vehicle per use

    Product M, lasts 2 weeks
    Product A, lasts 4 weeks

Product M has to be redone 26 times
Product A has to be redone 13 times

    M: 26 @ $1.33 = $34.58
    A: 13 @ $2.00 = $26.00

Now, it is a question of using it and finding out how the longevity is and how the vehicle looks to make a final decision on the actual value.  I ordered one bottle and will be putting it on the wife's car today and then the trial time starts.   By no means,  am I saying that I prefer the higher purchase cost, it would be great if the price was the same as Product M and longer lasting. If Product M were to last 4 weeks instead of 2, then we'd have a different financial pattern.  Also, I have no complaints about how the vehicle looks or ease of use when using Product M, so that is not part of my evaluation process.

Gotcha!  Well, I decided to degrease/clean the Weber SS grill tonight. After scraping, soaking with degreasing agent, and an initial pressure wash, I finished with Adams Wash & Wax in the cannon. Then I lightly scrubbed on the outside and followed with a good rinse with deionized water. I was very pleased! Slight gloss enhancement too.

    Hi Marshall,
The Wash & Wax works great on the garage door if it is fiberglass or aluminum.  It makes it easy to go over and really reduces the amount of dust and dirt that clings to it.  I try to do mine about 3 times a year, end of winter, after pollen season and late fall.

RayS got a reaction from Marshall in Spotless Water Deionizer Purchase??
There are plenty of 20-30 gallon portable water tanks that you wheel around with you.  They are used often for camping and are relatively inexpensive.  The good thing with the 20-30 galllon portable tanks is that they generally have the volume needed for the job while also remaining reasonable in their weight for being on wheels.

While I hadn't thought about the need for having deionized water for going around the house for the windows. Why not run the water through the Deionizer and put it into the portable tank to wheel around your house.   That way you can leave the Deionizer stationary insteady of trying to move it around the house?  It would probably be easier to do and would reduce the risk of damaging an expensive piece equipment by constantly moving it.

Those Continental's look fantastic! I agree, especially for those on just using the cleaner and no dressing. I'm like some of you guys, torn on the dressing in relation to looks, sling, runs, and dirt/dust attraction. I use Adams wheel/tire cleaner and to be truthful the tires look great after just that treatment. Then I ambitious on the next wash, and break out my Adams tire shine, a brush, and the Adams round foam applicator. 2 of my 3 vehicles have rough tread/aggressive side wall Goodyears and the process gets tedious!

On a different note, I used wheel and tire cleaner then tire shine on our low pro rollback at our dealership. Continental tires too! The shine worked perfect! No sling, no runs.

What stands out from the picture is that the tires are Continentals which are great tires, but nortoriously hard to get to look even and get some shine, at least for me.   So I think these Contintentals are the best looking Continentals that I've saw.  Nice work Jon.

Set between two of the 20'sh foot ladders this will let you get to all the areas.  Plan on doing about 2 feet a time for the length of the vehicle and go all the way across.  It is a slow process and is easier to move the vehicle than to move the ladders and scaffold.   You need to pick the right brand and length of the scaffold to ensure your vehicle can go between the ladders.  Laying down on the scaffold does make the process easier, but there is nothing that makes it comfortable.

I found that having the ladder closest to the vehicle in a more verticle stance made the setting more stable and more room along side the vehicle.

My wife and I choose that weekend to visit my son & daughter-in-law in Chicago!  It was lots of firsts for this Florida boy - first time in snow/ice/slush, first time in sub-zero temps, and first time wearing long underwear all day!  We looked at it as an adventure, and thankfully the brave Uber drivers were always available - my son's car locks froze on the Saturday, so we used them alot (but the plus was we always got into a warm car!).
Hats off to anyone that can live in that weather, but it ain't for me.

That's my suggestion since nothing else seems.to be working, yes. And longevity is only an estimate, not a guarantee. Like I said, many factors are in play that could affect it. It could also be the coating on the sides wasn't applied the same leading to different performance over time. If you don't feel like doing it all now, work panel by panel over a few days or even weeks. Compound and blue foam pad should remove it, then Surface Prep it and reapply the coating. As much time as you're investing in it trying to fix it, you could just redo it with a little more time and be happier. But it's your decision.

OK. Was not sure what could happen to the product over time.   I have not seen any visible issues as I was able to shake and use.

I think I am just going to mess around on this vehicle the Adam way and do a panel completely and spray ceramic coat it.   Just do a panel or two  a week. I would switch to the full coating but don't want to burn through 10 applicators. LOL

I have a few bottles that are in the 3-5 year old range and like you all my chemicals are kept in a climate controlled room.  I always make sure I shake the bottles well before using and same for the gallons before putting any in smaller bottles.  I've found that a few products, like Paint Sealant and Revive Hand Polish, take more shaking than others to ensure they are well mixed.   I have not had any issues with how well they work.

Of course if the bottle is not sealed properly that will cause them to go bad or as you stated some of them to dry out.
