  1. Hello everyone, As most of us know Modern leather and even most older leather seating is coating . But the older stuff especially if it sit s int he sun dries out and cracks. I was looking on the website and I noticed that the leather conditioner I use to buy isn't there anymore. There is an oil which different and that's it. So thinking about leather seating in general, do you really need a conditioner? Does that do anything other then smell good or make the seats slightly slippery? I'm at odds with leather seating on what to do with them anymore.
  2. Does anyone actually prefer the Graphene CS3 over regular CS3? I have used both many times and for some reason I always go back to regular CS3. Not that I find anything wrong with GCS3 I think I prefer CS3. I do however like the way GCS3 smells, that's amazing
  3. Hello everyone, I have been using Adams for many years and found I want to slim down not just my fat *** but the amount of products I have. Now I have not gone mental like some of you do and have so many products my garage looks like a Adams store or crazy collector LOL. But I was on my way to this madness and started wanting to get back some real-estate. So Waterless wash , which has gone purple now from blue is fantastic, I love the product and buy it by the gallon. CS3 and CS3 Graphene I also love which I tend to lean more towards the original over graphene , I like the smell of the Graphene but find the original to work just as good if not maybe better IMO. As CS3 is a waterless wash and I use it a lot, I'm thinking of cutting like with regular waterless wash in favor of CS3. I grab waterless wash when my wife's car gets a bird dropping on it or she comes home with a front end of bugs when the car is still basically freshly clean. But again CS3 can tackle these jobs just was well. My only reason for not always using CS3 is I don't always feel I need to keep adding protection. Now that might be a personal stupid hang up as I never ever have seen build up or any sign of smearing with CS3 no matter how many times I have used it. What do you guys think first of all these waterless wash products, do you use them all or have you narrowed it down to just 1? Last but pretty important , I use CS3 as a drying agent , a detail spray , waterless wash , wheel wipe down when they are just dusty lightly , bird droppings fresh bug removal and even a outside window cleaner which I love the hydrophobic it leave behind. Thanks everyone, Dan
  4. The Graphene stuff I have no issues with either. I don't know if they are worth the extra money over the regular stuff unless Adams claims better protection out of them to make them more worth it. I like the smell of the Graphene CS3.
  5. Hello, I have used all of the above sprays with no issues on 4 different cars. Silver Audi S4 ,White Dodge Durango, Purple Dodge Charger and a Black Dodge Charger. I use high quality Micro fiber towels From Adam's and the Rag Company. I wash my towels in warm water with clear and free Laundry Soap. I dry on cool setting in the Dryer and they always come out almost like new. Anyway, clean towels and proper use will always yield good results. Shake the bottle and test spray before use and don't over use the product. A few sprays per panel and your good to go.
  6. Ok, just watched the video and the product makes sense . I'm gonna buy a bottle and put it through it's paces. What I think most people miss is the actual use of the now 3 Graphene spray toppers , waterless wash Detail spray. So Boost is an actual Topper. It's has a heavier protection and not intended to be used as a detail spray or waterless wash Detail Spray is a drying agent and a touch up after a wash for water spots etc. It's a nice easy quick shine before a car show or a in between spray. I think it has it's place CS3 is a waterless wash with protection. It's probably the most fantastic product Adams has made. Using it like a waterless wash it's excellent and you get protection as well. Usually waterless washes are exactly that with no protection. CS3 also can be used like a drying agent or detail spray making it the all in one product if you don't want separate products to do all the different job Paint sprays are intended for. What are your thoughts on all these new Graphene products? I have both CS3 and Graphene Detail spray and CS3 works above and beyond , Graphene to me just smells better I'm not sure if it's actually better. I have not finished my first bottle yet so I'm not judging it yet. CS3 is my Jam.
  7. Ok good question. Bead Maker is a spray sealant which in my opinion is a flawed product. It tends to streak, it is a huge dust magnet . I love the shine and slickness of that product but I don't like the smears and static charge it puts on your paint which in turns attracts dust like mad. Oh and it smells really good. We have been through the P&S line and the line is good but I find holes in each product. To get something to work like Bead maker, I'd say CS3 is a better all around product that is like Bead maker but different and better IMO. It think it holds up just as long , has damn near the same awesome shine BUT doesn't turn your car into a dust magnet. So I think CS3 for the win plus it's a waterless wash with protection. It's a more versatile product and I don't have any need for Bead maker. I had to run through a few bottles to see if it's legit or over hyped. It's slightly over hyped , but it does what the say it does they just leave out the streaks and dust.
  8. Iron remover is it's own step. So no you don't have to clay afterwards. If your gonna clay then prepare to do a correction step. Clay can mare the paint.
  9. So if you want the most shine then a Proper Correcting to your paint needs to happen first. This step levels the paint and allows light to reflect better. This gives you that Shine your looking for. All Paint protections give you a very good shine, It's which one do you like the best Carnauba wax will give you a warm glow shine which is so nice to look at Paint sealants can give you a pop in shine Ceramics give you a more glass like shine. So you can see they are all different Ceramic will give you the max glass shine if that is what your looking for.
  10. Really? Well then you can just stick with CS3 or Graphene Detail spray. They both work amazing.
  11. Hello everyone, So I have been through a few gallons of CS3 , have a bottle of Graphene CS3 and Detail spray. All 3 I have been rotating back and forth on which one I'm gonna use when I maintenance wash my car. I'm Ceramic Spray Coated. Pitch Black Paint. Anyway tonight I decided to break out old Reliable in pink detail spray the original. Man with all todays technology and advancement in spray detailers and waterless wash products , sometimes you just can't beat Pink Detail spray. It leave a different kind of shine, a different kind of drying agent feel , a different kind of clean up spray after you used it as a drying agent and used it for water drips after a good blow. Man Adam's should NEVER stop making regular Pink Detail Spray, the smell, how good it is, how it feels on a spray coated car that well maintained and not daily driven, it's a garage queen most of the time. Thank you Adam's Polishes and whoever made Detail spray from the start. We have wonderful new and exciting products in Ceramic and Graphene but sometimes you just need detail spray in your life. Thanks again, Dan
  12. I have all of the above products myself. I have not used the Graphene Shampoo yet, I like the regular Car Shampoo. CS3 and detail spray graphene versions both work very well. I don't use them in direct sunlight or any product. I always wash in the shade in the morning and then pull into the garage for the dry and final. If I have good shade in the driveway, I'll do everything in the driveway. I don't find either product to work better. Maybe CS3 as it's more versatile then detail spray. As good as CS3 is, I don't usually grab for the detail spray. I have both regular and graphene Detail sprays and CS3.
  13. SO far it's a toss up. I like the smell of the Graphene CS3 which can fool you into it's better. It's more pleasurable to use as the scent is awesome. It's a noticeable difference when you go back to CS3. But CS3 works so good, the improvements that are with Graphene are hard to tell. Especially since I wash. my car once a week and it always has crazy beading. When I started using Graphene Detail Spray, I thought the smell was very nice. Detail spray also smells amazingly good . Both products do their job top notch. I'm not sure if Graphene Detail spray replaces Detail Spray. For me I don't need a in between touch up spray to last more than a few weeks anyway. And again with the extra money they both cost over the standard versions, I'm not so sure at least for me are worth it. Now IF the protection is that much better and It resisted Water spots and Bird Droppings better, I would say hell yeah, I would absolutely pay extra for the Graphene BUT Since I started using the Graphene products, I have not noticed a reduction in water spots and I got some bird droppings on m y mirror and it still left marks. I had to polish them off. So the protection benefits of Graphene CS3 don't seem to be any better. Don't get me wrong, it's an incredible product and If CS3 went away I would have to switch to Graphene CS3 and I would be totally happy. The extra money at that point wouldn't matter as I couldn't get CS3 anymore. So I hope Adam's continues to offer both versions as some may want to use the Graphene version. I don't think I'm gonna change anyones mind as my car stays in the garage most of the time. I did have to drive it to work for a few months and I sweated it every single day as our parking lot has a lot of trees and the birds constantly poop on everyones car. I damn near wanted to buy a car cover so I can protect my paint. I even tried laying Adam's Polishes Graphene Liquid wax and I don't think it helped at all. Let me be frank, Someone needs to offer a protection wax spray or coating aside of PPF to protect the paint from Bird Droppings. This is a very common thing that happens to everyone car at some point or another. You could be just out for a drive and get splattered. I know as it has happened to me many times and I want to buy a B gun and shot those damn bastards.
  14. I do understand the frustrating and confusion around all these products that seem to do all the same things. As I posted, CS3 is your best bet if you want 1 product that can do it all. CS3 is incredibly versatile, it can clean in-between washes , super light dust and super mild dirt as you don't want to scratch your paint. I'd rather do a full bucket wash rather than risk scratching even as good as CS3 is. CS3 is incredible as a detail spray and all it's uses. Touch ups, drying aid I love it. I like trying all the other products except I have not got my hands on slick and slide. Honestly every time I make an order I think about it and don't get it as CS3 has no weakness. I also have the Graphene versions and the Graphene CS3 works the same as CS3 but has a better smell. It smells like Grape plums , it's really pleasant to work with. It really puts the gloss on your paint just as good and possibly better than CS3 does. But I have not done like 1/2 hood with both products which I might do just to see. For the few dollars less, I'm totally happy with CS3 for the rest of my life. Graphene CS3 I only used a few times and as I have used it, I'm not overly impressed as CS3 is that good on it's own. it's smell is also pleasant so the Grape smell isn't enough to make me spend more money if it works the same otherwise. Time will tell I'm gonna run through a full 16 oz bottle of Graphene CS3 and then go back to CS3 and see if I miss it.
  15. So why would you not use Detail spray or Waterless wash on a coated car? I think any of those products will do the job very well. Actually CS3 would be the ideal choice for all those jobs. CS3 to me is the most versatile products from Adams and one of the all time best product they have made. I have all the above products and I seem to always reach for CS3. I've been playing around with both Graphene Detail spray and CS3 and what I like about those 2 is the smell. Some claim they streak but I have not yet had that issue. CS3 honestly is my all time favorite product.
  16. CS3 is killer , I've said it many times, it's my favorite product for detailing . It's the one product I will always have around. But I washed my car Thursday night after work and what I noticed having Graphene CS3 already on the car from last week, the water beading was different in that the beads where tighter smaller and more round. That doesn't excite me at all as I hate water spots. But I also noticed when doing my wash, the soap separated more than usual. I would make a pass with the mitt and it would separate around the pass. Also when I rinsed the car after the wash, less water was left behind. Another thing I noticed yesterday morning when I went out into the garage, the car seemed to have a slight different gloss to it. Deeper and more gloss. Not night and day but enough for me to notice. I have not had any streaking issues with Graphene CS3 but I have only used it twice now. Honestly I used it as a drying agent and a touch up. That's my usual as my car is Pitche black. If any water trails are anywhere, you can see them from the next county over. Kinda sucks but when it's on it looks incredible.
  17. Huh , I didn't know that. Do you know what the pros and cons are? Curious if or why Adams has or has not made a product like this?
  18. That's what I figured you where saying. It's a shame that they can't make these awesome products just sheet water instead of beading. Beading creates the water spots as the water if on a flat surface like roof's hoods top of mirrors and trunk lids get water spots after a rain and it dries on the car. If the product created sheeting, then the water would not bead and water marks would probably be way less. It's funny when I park my car at work , my car is the only one that beads water like crazy yet all the other cars have no water marks after a rain and mine does, I hate that. However , I can get those water marks off most of the time with a maintenance wash as I wash my car once a week. But to all of them come off. I recently did a polish and re apply of Ceramic Spray coating and I was able to polish out all the water marks. I'm assuming they just stuck to the protection and not the Clear coat.
  19. Hello all, is there any issues with using Graphene Detail spray as a drying agent and a quick clean up after a wash? I like to use a drying agent after a maintenance wash and after I get all the water out of the cracks with a leaf blower , I like to go around the car with a detailer and do a clean up step. To get rid of the small water trails blowing leaves behind. Especially on a Pitch Black car.
  20. Less prone then what? Ceramics? When I was using Waxes and Sealants, I didn't have these issues. The more I get into the newer protection the more I don't like them.
  21. I was thinking the same thing. A coating even a Spray coating requires proper Paint Prep before it can bond correctly. if you coat your car in a Spray coating, you can maintain it with Graphene Detail spray or Graphene CS3. Both will work great after washes as drying agents and topers. Then in 6 months to a year or as needed, then you can reapply a Spray coating after a full paint prep.
  22. It's not disappointing , I just did my car this morning. So what happened is I washed my car Yesterday morning and Went for a drive with my son in the laster afternoon. We have some cool back roads in Lower Bucks county. But as we where on our way home, it started to rain. Which pissed me off as I just washed my car. So I parked it in my garage and this morning I got up and figured what a great way to test further out Graphene CS3. Well it doesn't disappoint , it works every bit as good as CS3 does and the one thing it does better is smell better. The Grape plum smell is damn good man.
  23. This is a tuff question and one. struggle with myself. It seems to me that Ceramic Coating water spot badly. I don't remember regular Carnuba Wax or Paint sealants having this issue. Now I also think the water spots are in the protection coating and can be removed as I have easily removed mine with a rub of a Polish. So you tried Graphene Liquid wax and got the water spots removed, I didn't know there was any cleaner in that product. I thought it was a final coat after a polish. It's confusing what that product actually is as Adams has not released anything on it. It's only at Autozone and the only info is on the bottle and 1 YouTube video review I found in it. I also own it but have not tried to remove any water spots with it. I just tried it out on my mirrors and painted bumper to see if it offered a better layer of protection from bird droppings, for awhile at work we where having an issue with birds blasting all the cars. That went away, the Liquid wax didn't help so I haven't used it since. Your coating is paint layer, anything you put on top is a topper. The Liquid wax as I see it can be a topper and would not need another layer on top of it if you decide to use it on the whole car. I would use it on the tops to help with the water spots. What's funny about the Graphene craze is that it's marketed to help prevent water spots. I have not seen this to be true as as have you.
  24. Ok, so I have been using CS3 since it came out and it's probably my number 1 favorite product Adam's makes. I use if for all it's uses and use it as a topper. I find that duty to work amazing. I love how it feels going on and off and the shine is flat out incredible. So I got a bottle of the Graphene CS3 which I have been wanting to try out since it came out as I love CS3 and figured this new one would fall right in line or replace my CS3 that I have loved for years now. I'm gonna be flat out honest here, I don't see this taking the CS3 spot. It least not yet. It's not as slick feeling or which feeling when using it as a Waterless wash or as a touch up like how you would use regular Detail spray. I like CS3 for this use and I tried out Graphene CS3 and did find it to work better. It works don't get me wrong , and the smell is awesome, it says plum but I smell Grape. That I like a lot but I also still like my Trusty CS3 as it is. I think awhile ago I asked if CS3 will ever get improved on and this is what we got. The Graphene CS3 if I never used regular CS3 would probably go right into my arsenal and gallons would be purchased. The extra cost for the Graphene CS3 over CS3 so far I'm not seeing the extra worth. I only used it twice now and It's a fine product. I used it in my door jams, I keep my door jams brand new clean and using a product like CS3 , detail spray or Graphene detail spray which I also have keeps them slick and super easy to clean the next time around. I also tried Graphene CS3 on my wheels, another place I love use CS3 as I have black satin paint wheels and I like a nice spray coating on them each week I maintenance wash. So Right now if you asked me if Graphene CS3 will replace CS3? That answer is no. I'm gonna use a full 16 oz bottle over the next month or however it lasts , we have 3 cars that get washed each week and topped with CS3 and now Graphene CS3, if I start noticing differences in wash and the amount of dirt that just falls off, I may switch but for right now I'm still a firm lover of regular CS3. We shall see Graphene CS3.......
  25. Yeah I'm a Car Shampoo kinda guy and I have been using it for years. We buy it by the gallon and honestly. I only purchased the Graphene Car Shampoo to try out all the new Graphene stuff. I plan on opening it up at some point and trying it out.
