I have a white car, too, and get great results with just the CP. But Mercedes paint is hard, so HCC might be needed. IMO, FP isn't a required step.

Yeah I'm going to try the CP first with the orange pad and see where that gets me.. I might be able to use that for majority of the car. maybe. If not I'll just hit it with the HCC with the blue pad and if still nothing then microfiber pad. As everyone says to try least aggressive first so thats what ill do. Thanks for the help.

Agreed, but that FP really livened up my tuxedo black paint... :)

Yeah I mean I've seen what it does for black paint on multiple reviews and don't get me wrong it looks amazing. I just have white paint and my car only has 30 thousand kms on it so it's its not that bad. I mean it definitely needs to be corrected and polished as it never has been..  I just don't want to have to buy the FP and the white pad to go with it if I don't need too. I've spent a rap load of money already.

  3. Question when polishing... I only bought a 2 step 15mm polishing kit. (It was on an amazing sale and from what I hear the 15mm polisher is more then enough for what I'm looking for)

This kit only came with the Heavy Correcting Compound and the Correcting Polish with the micro fiber, blue and orange foam pads. I also picked up 2 extra pads of each blue and orange pads.

Do I need to get the Finishing Polish with the white foam pad? or is it just recommended?

Ultimately I plan on using Adams new Ceramic Spray.

Nice Benz just picked up A C43 cabriolet .For the little woman she loves it and keeps her out of mine.Amg is awesome high quality there

C43s are very nice! Smaller engine but still very quick specially because their 4matic. I was looking into one because of living in Toronto and the winters here... But I caved into the 6.2l V8 lol Although I don't like how they branded the C43 as an AMG because it's not a hand built motor and when you think of AMG you think hand built motor.. V8... big engine with lots of power just crazy things lol. Few years ago the C43 was just the C450. Still a very great car. V6 bi turbo. My girlfriend drives a CLA 250 and I want her to sell its for a C43 lol. It's also a white one so we got that whole "his and hers" thing going lol

is that the white diamond paint ?

It sure is. I don't think there's any other type of white for the Edition 507.

Fiona. I was expecting a green car.  Very nice ride.  :2thumbs:

Lol nope not green and thanks. I plan on making her look just as new as soon as winter is over.. I spent a **** load on Adams products and can't wait. I'm new to paint correction but I love my car and cleaning her so I want to learn how to do it all and like that i'll be able to do the girlfriends car too.

  5. I wish there was something like the MB or even the Bigboi buddie blower that was battery powered... I live in a condo and don't have my own personal garage... So I'm thinking about getting something like the milwaukee M18 blower 100 cfm and apparently up to 160 mph with a rubber tip. Not sure if it has a filter or not though... But either way might be my only choice for something thats mobile.

  6. So I just forked up the extra $20 bucks for shipping.. and got the microfiber towel bundle because it was a wicked sale $178.46 regular down to $123.55 so even with the wasted $20 shipping I'm still saving.. also took advantage of the order and got a bottle Coating prep which I originally forgot to get. lol Anyway Adams your dipping deep into my pockets! lol

Unfortunately, the toll free number does not work for all parts of Canada.  You would have to use the main number 720-473-7100 but international calling fees would apply.

Another option would be to email orders@adamspolishes.com and include your phone number and ask for someone in Customer Service to call you back.

Thanks for the phone number my shipment was already sent out :( I say a microfiber bundle that I wanted to add to my order as well. I'll just have to wait until the next time I'm going to be spending a good chunk before I place another order I guess.

  8. I ordered a few things off the Adams website and forgot to add an item to my order. Is there anyway I could add to my order before its shipped out? The shipping would cost more than the item itself.

The phone number that was provided to me didn't work for me either.

    Thanks,

The one Dealer is just north of the city, Show and Shine

I was just looking at the site and there are definitely savings on this site over the adams.ca and amazon.ca Some items are only 1-2 bucks cheaper but some are 5-10 and shipping is also cut more in half. It definitely all adds up!

    Thanks Tom!

I would wash before I iron remove. You don’t want the dirt to block the iron remover from working.

    Wash. Iron. Clay. Etc.

    So..

    1 - Wash

    2 - Iron Remover

    3 - Strip wash

    4 - Clay

    5 - Polish

    6 - Coating Prep

    7 - Coating

    Thanks again guys!

  11. Hey guys so I'm planning on coating my car with the new Ceramic Spray and I know I have to prep my car for that... So this is what I'm planning on doing. Let me know if I'm missing any steps or if I'm following the steps properly... I have watched a bunch of videos and read quite a bit so I have somewhat of an understanding just no actual experience.

Step 1 - Washing the car with normal car shampoo

Step 2 -  Soaking the car and using the Strip Wash

    Step 3 - Clay Baring

Step 4- Use the Iron Remover

Step 5 - Using Adams Swirl Killer with the 3 stage Heavy Compound then Correcting Polish and then the Finish Polish (although I may just use the Correcting Polish and the Finishing Polish as the car isn't that scuffed up) I plan on buying the Ultimate kit so I have everything needed to do this.

Step 6 - Using the Coasting Prep (saw a video with someone using this before applying any Ceramic product)

Step 7 - Applying the Ceramic Spray and letting it cure in a underground garage

So that's my plan, not sure if I left anything out or not. Please let me know if I should be doing something different or if I'm on the right track.

    Thanks!

p.s does anyone know how to make my signature pic smaller... lol

If you haven't read it yet, here's a great post about that.

Great read. I've decided to definitely go with the new ceramic spray. While I don't daily drive my car I does stay parked outside so I definitely need the protection/durability, and from what I have read the gloss and shine looks great too.

    Thanks Chris,

    Welcome to our forum!

Since you are using the New Ceramic Spray I would stick with the Boost.

Yeah after reading more and more I've come to that conclusion. I've been learning the differences between waxes/sealants/coatings...

    Thanks,

  14. Quick question..

I'm planning on doing the following once the weather gets better..

Strip wash > Iron remover >  Clay >  Correcting polish/Finish polish > Ceramic spray.

My question is to maintain my car during my weekly washes. Is it best to use only a Ceramic boost or can I use the H2o guard gloss? or use ceramic boost over that? I don't want to layer product over product if its not needed. Just that the H2ogg looks pretty awesome.

    Thanks,

  15. Hey all..

    Owner of a 2014 Mercedes AMG C63 507 edition. V8 6.2L all motor pushing out 507 hp :)

Just watched a bunch of Adams product reviews on youtube and Fiona (my car) is going to be getting some good treatment!

Just bought a wheel cleaner kit and going to get the adams swirl killer kit as well because I'm planning on ceramic coating my car either it being the new ceramic spray or the original one. Haven't completely decided yet! but I know I will be asking questions here and there.

    Anyway everyone meet Fiona!
