  1. Good points and nice Magnum. I have always liked them. I will most likely only cover it in the bad weather...rain snow ice and remove it after melting for a time. I think I will try the cover king. Thanks guys Kev
  2. Hi Rich thank you. PA as well. Northeast. I did look at weathertech for a cover. Great products but over 550. so I went searching and found this at carID: Coverking® - Stormproof™ Custom Car Cover for about half of that. It looks good and is rated high. I like your idea about the fleece sheets too. Im considering just covering it just before bad weather and uncovering it once clear, at least for this year. I have not used seafoam in this car but do use it and like it. Kev
  3. Hey gang. I have my ATS prepped up for winter. It lives outside and is a daily driver basically. I like to keep it as good as possible being it is outdoors. I have polished it and put the sealer on it and so far one coat of glaze. I have Americana and buttery on hand. So I will be covering it on Thanksgiving weekend and other than the occasional winter drive in nice weather it will be covered. I would like suggestions on the last prep step before the cover and also a suggestion on cover material. Also if any of you guys keep cars covered outdoors for the winter, I would like some general tips on how often to start, drive etc. Thank you
  4. can you guys tell me what you got from obsessed garage exactly. I was on the site last night and watched some of the videos. I saw a handle and a wand setup and I will need the hose and a good cannon too. Thanks The washer comes tomorrow
  5. ok great. I will get this pressure washer and look up what you suggest Thanks
  6. thanks. will do. I will order the foam canon from Adams eventually I'm sure
  7. Hello everyone - Happy weekend. I am looking for a pressure washer recommendation for car care and use of the foam cannon. Too much pressure can be harmful so I want to make sure I dont go crazy. Budget is a concern, but not the main one, After posting. I went ahead and got this on sale from amazon. Would like some thoughts on it. It was 145.00 Thank you Kevin
  8. All Wondering what you all use to boost the shine after liquid sealant or GG application I am considering Butter wax and or glaze. Also, I heard Adam on a video mention that after polishing it would be good to add a thin coat of glaze to do minor fill in? I never heard of this but he is the man so I guess its right. Did I hear this correctly? Thanks Kev
  9. thanks for the warm welcome everyone
  10. ordered the 15mm SK kit and the gray pad and liquid sealer. You guys are spending my money.. LOL Thanks Kev
  11. I want to thank you all very much and I will take the advice. I would like to get a machine. Should I go with the porter cable or go the extra bucks for the swirl killer kit? Thanks again
  12. Hello - Thanks to the AP customer service for helping me through different application steps. I thought I would ask this in the forum since it is a bit lengthly. I have just purchased a 2 year old Cadillac ATS. the paint appears very good. no apparent swirls to speak of. I have Adams products buttery wax and H2oGG. I have just placed another order which includes LPS. and a foam gun. I have decided not to go the Ceramic route after considering it. My idea of how to take care of my car is: Start with the foam gun and shampoo. After drying apply LPS by hand and buff. Top with buttery wax. Wash only several times a month.. fill in between with spray detailer. Each month, boost the LPS application with H2oGG topped with buttery wax. Every 6 months apply LPS topped with buttery wax. Any suggestions or changes would be welcome. Is there any real advantage to laying down the LPS or buttery wax with a machine like the swirl killer or porter cable? Should I strip the products every so often and if so with what? Thank you
  13. Saying hello. New here.
