  1. Welcome! Congrats! I’m sure you’ve got some happy clients!
  2. Thanks for your response. That makes sense. That actually looks true now that I compare it to my triple soft.
  3. Hi Wayne, I just read a good article on which polisher to choose. I, myself, am also saving up and doing research to buy a polisher. Let me find the write up, and I will link it here. Edit: I found one of the links. Now in this post they are talking about Rupes polishers, but if you look at Adam's list of swirl killers (polishers), they have the same sizes: 21mm, 15mm, and 12mm. Not only do they have the same sizes, but I have read that Adam's machines are quality. I will send anything else that I may find useful. But so far, from my research, I've decided that I will be saving up for Adam's Swirl Killer 15mm (or hopefully, a modestly prices Swirl Killer Mystery Box!!!). It just seems to be versatile and most fit my needs. Here's another good write up for you:
  4. Hi Joe, welcome! this forum is a great place to hear about others' experience and processes. People are very helpful on here.
  5. Welcome, you came to the right place. If you have any questions for products, people on here are very helpful!
  6. Welcome, Jeremy, love the color.
  7. Good question. Specifically having it over a wax, I have no experience. So if anybody else had any exp., please feel free to correct me. in my experience boost on its own will last for closer to 6+ Weeks depending on conditions. For that reason, I usually like to reapply every 4 weeks or so. And would guess that reapplying every 4 weeks would be a good timeline for you. if you notice that the hydrophobic, or water repelling, effects are present, that is evidence of the ceramic boost. If waterbeading is not present on the surface after water, then that is evidence that the ceramic boost is at the end of its life and needs a reapply.
  8. You're right. I was being stingy with my product. I had already sealed my glass, and wanted to save some extra CSC. 😔 haha
  9. Okay, I used probably around the same amount. But I did 2 SUV's: One small SUV and one mid-large SUV, on only the painted and trim surfaces on the body. No wheels and trying to avoid glass. This is some of my favorite stuff.
  10. Yes, I saw them doing that in one of the videos. Glad to hear positive things from that! I will definitely be trying that in the future. Just out of curiousity, would you be able to estimate how much product they use per vehicle?
  11. I would tend to agree. I think the newer bottles with the smaller sprayers are harder to use. But if you haven't tried the actual products yet, they're something else! They're amazing!
  12. That's what I thought, maybe just some tolerance in their manufacturing. Yes, it's got the typical double soft grey border. and yes it does pull apart at the middle. It's got the seams going down the middle like normal and everything. Like Jon said above, there's a noticeable difference in mass between my single softs and the towel in question. It's just the length of the fibers that seem to be different. I also did notice that the towels in the image for the Spray Wax and Towel combo look more consistent with the towel on the right (in the first pictures I posted). Really not a huge deal, I just noticed an inconsistency and wanted to know if if that was normal. I'm still excited to use these towels! Thanks for everybody's input. I'll update if anything sticks out.
  13. That’s similar to how I treated it. I coated my whole vehicle. Except I didn’t have the applicator block, so I took a towel and folded it a bunch until it was basically in the form of a cc applicator. Then I sprayed into the towel in lines as if it were a typical cc and I’d give the surface a small spray as well. Ill probably change my technique in the future. I found that spraying it on the surface caused over spray onto the glass. Which I know it’s safe for the glass, and it wasn’t really a huge deal - just took going over it with a towel. But in the future I think I could control that better with just spraying into the towel. So, my vehicle has 3 ceramic coated windows. Top half of the windshield and bottom half of the back windshield also ceramic coated. It’s not visible or anything. But since I did it, I am aware of it and know that my windows were inconsistently treated. Lol
  14. Sorry I probably shouldn't have quoted on my post above.^
  15. So I ordered a spray wax combo kit with with the two double soft towels. and I noticed that my towels are different from each other. One of the double soft towels has a long luscious nap, while the other has a visibly and tangibly shorter nap - basically like if you took the first towel with the long nap and gave it a hair cut. Any ideas why this might be? They both feel very soft and high quality still, but it seems like these two towels should be consistent. I haven't used them yet, so I can't speak to a difference in performance. But I just wanted to hear thoughts to see if there was a mistake made somewhere. You can see the difference in the pictures.
  16. Understood. Not even to use as a topper to to the coating on the trim?
  17. I just used Ceramic Spray Coating on two of my vehicles. Essentially, I coated the paint and the trim. Does anybody know if I can continue to protect the trim with VRT, or do I back off with that for a while?
  18. Not the best lighting - but here they are.
  19. Thanks, new friends. Big news: I ceramic coated two vehicles for the first time this weekend. Well... I used CSC on them this weekend.
  20. Hello new friends, I'm excited to become a part of this community. I've been detailing for a short time, and I'm a big fan of Adam and how this operation is run.
  21. Sheesh, have you tried soaking in some diluted APC and rubbing the towel against itself?
