  1. They are absolutely amazing cars. I stumbled across one and had to have it. I have not been disappointed. They are a blast to drive, quicker than you would think due to power/weight and handle really well for 50's technology. You basically have a choice of two, Special Edition or Vintage. You cannot go wrong with either but this one is a Special Edition. I have had it for about 3 years now and I am 6'1. There is plenty of room once you are seated but there is a trick to getting in. Someone a little taller than me could still drive one with no/minor modifications. If you need some help or advice, PM me and I will give you my email. There are some pointers I can give you when searching or standard information you should know before buying one.
  2. As an update on the Cayman S, I washed and clayed the car yesterday. There was a gritty feeling on the paint that is no longer there but sadly, there are a handful of rock dings on the hood that I doubt polish will solve. The car still looks good prior to any additional processes from 3 feet away. The hood is probably where I will start though.
  3. AA County. Here are some other pics of the car.
  4. Not pictured is the white Adam's fine polish, black machine polish and orange cutting polish.
  5. You cannot see the PC in the picture. I took a close up of the two pads in question. The black you see on the right looks like microfiber, it is not the hook and loop on the back. p.s. I have limited garage space, I wasn't trying to show off the car in the pic.
  6. I bought the 3 step with a PC years ago when I owned a jet black car. I never got around to using it once and most of the stuff is still in plastic. I recently bought a Porsche Cayman S in yellow and now, I want to clean her up. I am the second owner and the first clearly didn't understand car care. However, when I returned to the Adam's site, it appears they don't sell/use what I have and now I don't have much of an idea of what I have or how to use it. I have orange pads, white pads and black pads in 7", each of those plus a red in 4" and a white pad and what appears to be microfiber on top. I do know that white goes with white and that is where I should start after a wash and clay. I would like to use the PC to apply wax but don't have the foggiest how to do that. I don't know what the next step up is (machine polish or the orange), if I should bother as a novice, how hard the paint is from Porsche and what this white pad w/black top is for. I do know "how" to do this but am I missing a step? What is the best steps for applying wax when I am done/what do I need to do it................but more importantly, I don't want to mess up my car.
