  1. Ray summed it up great there! With most of our sprays that offer more substantial protection than our pink Detail Spray, you do need to wipe them in more thoroughly. I do also recommend two towels especially when working on darker colored surfaces - with the first towel to spread and absorb 75% or so of the product, and the second dry towel to remove the remaining product. Less is more with our products too, so 2 full-pull trigger mists will cover half of a hood for me. Make sure to shake up the Graphene Detail Spray before use as well - if things have settled in the bottle, that may cause some of the streaking too. If the streaking still persists, you could try the damp towel method, mist it onto the surface, take a slightly damp towel with water (not dripping wet) to do the initial wipe, and then take a second dry towel wipe away the rest. I've used Graphene Detail Spray on several vehicles now - metallic black, gloss black, cement gray, pearl white, metallic blue, and silver, and I haven't had any streaking problems yet with three different bottles - I ended up giving away two bottles for friends vehicles that I coated. Which type of towels are you using with it? I've used it with our Borderless Gray Towels and Single Soft Towels with excellent results. I would recommend using the Graphene Detail Spray in the shade if possible, when the vehicle is cool to the touch. You can use it in the sun, but you will need to work in smaller areas and wipe it off quickly. I would not recommend using our normal pink Detail Spray several times a week though as another option as you mentioned. Once a week or so would be ok, but it can build up over time. It will not harm the coating, but could cause the coating to not perform as well in terms of hydrophobics and repelling water. If you're looking for a product to wipe the vehicle down several times per week for light dust removal and so on, I would recommend our Waterless Wash. It's a straight cleaner without any protection, so it won't build up. Then you could use the Graphene Detail Spray every few weeks or so for maintenance of the coating.
  2. It's hit or miss. We occasionally receive shipments of these sprayers and they are shipped out in orders, but we run out of them fast. That is why some orders you receive may have these, and some may have the other ones with the rotating head. Edit: There may be some forum members here with an overabundance of sprayers that may be willing to trade some items for them. Once you're at 50 posts you can make a thread in the Garage Sale section of the forum 👍
  3. Welcome to the forum Moon, and thank you for your business! I'll add to Rich's post - it's implied, but make sure you very thoroughly rinse off all of the Iron Remover chemical with a strong stream from your garden hose (or pressure washer at a safe distance, 12"-18" away) before using the Detail Spray as a drying aid. I actually do my order of operations a little different than Rich, but either method is fine - I'll rinse the vehicle with the pressure washer, then apply Iron Remover and allow it to work, then rinse the Iron Remover, and then finally use the Mega Foam and Foam Cannon and do a two-bucket wash. This way I ensure that the soap removes any Iron Remover chemical that I may have missed rinsing off earlier. Here's an overview video of Iron Remover. Use it in the shade if possible, and do not let it dry onto any surface. I try to keep it only on painted surfaces and avoid textured plastics if possible. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
  4. Chris and Rich already got this one, but yes absolutely shake it up very thoroughly before opening to mix it uniformly. This goes for all 3 of our graphene products - Graphene Ceramic Coating, Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating, and Graphene Detail Spray. I will see if we can have this added to the instructions.
  5. Hi @mamoore9 and welcome to the forum! Your order of operations looks great there, but step 5 (a second strip wash) isn't 100% necessary unless you want peace of mind. Usually I will just use a microfiber towel to wipe away the Detail Spray residue from claying, or you could rinse with water and then dry with the Ultra Plush Drying Towel. After applying and wiping away the hazed Liquid Paint Sealant, we would recommend waiting at least 1 hour before applying anything else on top of it like H2O Guard & Gloss in step 8. Usually I will wait until the next wash to apply H2O Guard - make sure to apply it to the wheels to so that they have some protection and are a little easier to clean brake dust afterward. While mentioning wheels, make sure that they are cool to the touch before spraying WTC onto one wheel at a time, as it is a very strong chemical - do not let it dry onto the wheel either. For the chrome bumpers, Strip Wash is safe to wash them (or any of our shampoos). If the chrome has heavy bug gut build-up, I like to use our Aerosol Glass Cleaner to foam up the chrome and soften up the bug guts some. You can then protect them with Paint Sealant and H2O Guard just like the paint! If there is any textured black trim built into the chrome bumpers like step areas, make sure to keep the Paint Sealant off of those areas to prevent any possible white discoloration to the plastic. Let us know if you have any other questions!
  6. This is exactly what I do. ^^^^ I'll use the pay & spray two minutes from my house, water only on a slightly warmer day to spray and rinse the majority of winter grime off of my vehicle, then I'll pull it into my garage and do a Rinseless Wash with a bucket of warm water and Rinseless Wash solution and about 6 plush microfiber towels. This way I don't end up freezing my driveway or garden hose.
  7. Hi Troy, great questions! Ceramic coatings are chemically resistant for the most part, so the touchless washes should not do much harm; however, if they have a wax or protection stage during the wash, their waxes could alter the hydrophobic properties of the coating somewhat until you would remove that wax layer. Like you guessed, a wash with Strip Wash in your bucket or foam cannon after Winter should get the surface back down to the Graphene Ceramic Coating layer, and then you could maintain again with Graphene Detail Spray. You may find that you need to use a Fine Grade Clay Bar on the lower parts of the vehicle and the rear trunk area as well, since those areas usually take the worst beating during winter months, as they will usually pick up some amount of bonded contamination on the surface.
  8. Hi Matthew, depending on the manufacturing dates, the 4oz and 8oz bottles of Ceramic Boost might be version 1 of the formula or version 2 (current) of the formula. The white 12oz bottle with the Ceramic Line label is absolutely version 2. Gallons and half gallons of Ceramic Boost are all version 2 as well. Version 2, the current version, began shipping out in August of 2018. For the Ceramic Spray Coating bottles, those are the same formula, with the white 8oz bottle being a newer bottle design when we launched the full ceramic line in March of 2019. Ceramic Spray Coating was updated when we introduced the addition of the UV tracer to it in November of 2019. Hope that clears things up 😎
  9. It is possibly related to SSL certificates. We are still investigating.
  10. Yep, as Michael and Chris stated, you can re-use towels with Graphene Detail Spray without issue, as long as you wash and maintain the towels properly. A little more in-depth for anyone curious... Products that we DO NOT recommend re-using towels or applicators after application: - Ceramic Paint Coating 50ml - Ceramic Wheel Coating 50ml - Ceramic Black Trim Restorer 50ml - Graphene Ceramic Coating 60ml The coatings above can and will harden into the towels and applicators, and you will be able to feel them become more coarse. They can absolutely scratch vehicles if you attempt to re-use them on paint. Once my suede towel/single soft/borderless gray/edgeless utility towel is used to remove one of the ceramic coatings above, I downgrade the towel to cleaning my garage floor, wiping up spills, etc. If you are very careful and fold the towels into fourths and only use certain sides, you MAY be able to use any unused "sides" of the towel on a second vehicle, but you always risk the chance of a hardened folded edge contacting the vehicle and scratching it, so it's usually not worth saving the $5-$10 or so to me to risk damaging a vehicle. With our Ceramic Spray Coating, UV Ceramic Spray Coating, Ceramic Coating Wax, and Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating, I have not had issue re-using towels and applicators, provided that I soak them for a few hours after use in some Microfiber Revitalizer or Towel & Pad Revitalizer mixed into a bucket of water, and then wash them properly (as in how Chris linked the article above). The spray coatings do not seem to harden and crystallize into the towels and applicators as easily as the glass bottle coatings above. Lastly, our Sio2 and graphene-oxide infused products are safe to re-use towels as well, but the towels can eventually become hydrophobic and repel liquids as Michael mentioned. These products include: - Ceramic Boost - Ceramic Liquid Wax - Ceramic Waterless - CS3 - Graphene Detail Spray I hope that clears things up and makes it a little easier to understand
  11. Forums always seem to have highs and lows with activity level depending on the time of the year. During summer months when people are more busy, activity seems to drop a little. Then it usually picks up around this time of the year with Black Friday and Cyber Monday around the corner, and lots of cold months where most of the country is bundled up inside. Spring months are pretty busy too, since most are eager to start detailing vehicles again, and we typically launch some new products and updated formulas to start the new detailing season 👍
  12. Hi @William A Posada Jr, welcome to the forum! I'm going to move this thread into the appropriate section so that it gets more views and input. Several of our products can be used safely on vinyl wraps! I'll make all of the products listed below into clickable links, so that it will take you right to the product page with more information for each one. If you have a matte or satin finish wrap on your vehicle, our blue Car Shampoo, Mega Foam Shampoo, Waterless Wash, Rinseless Wash, and Matte Detailer are all safe for cleaning. If you have a gloss finish wrap on your vehicle, the list of safe washing products grows more: Car Shampoo, Mega Foam Shampoo, Wash & Wax, Ultra Foam Shampoo, Wash + Coat, CS3, Waterless Wash, Rinseless Wash, and Ceramic Waterless are all great options. For protection, I would recommend our Ceramic Spray Coating or Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating. They are both very easy to apply and remove, and will provide several months of protection or more. On gloss vinyl they will add more shine and depth, but on matte vinyl they will not alter the appearance as long as they are wiped away properly. I know that is a lot of products listed, so if you are looking for a simplified list, the ones I use most now would be Mega Foam for bucket washes or a Foam Cannon setup with a pressure washer and Waterless Wash if I'm looking to remove a small amount of light dirt or dust. I use a lot of Rinseless Wash too - it's a concentrate that must be diluted down, either into a bucket or a spray bottle - you can make 16 spray bottles (16oz) with one 16oz bottle of Rinseless Wash, so it's a very cost effective option! Let us know if you have any other questions
  13. Nope. I haven't been told anything. The Halloween box set went up last Friday, but I don't know if that is any indication here or not.
  14. Hey Billy! Those are some rare stickers! I would gladly trade you 3 bottles of the 16oz blue Car Shampoo for those (one for each sticker). Please PM me if interested. Thanks!
  15. Pretty cool to note, that very last picture, Adam was the high bidder and is the happy new owner of that beautiful truck 😎
  16. Today we officially hit 400,000 followers on Instagram! We're very honored and thank each and every one of you. All I can say is COMING SOON, because I don't know when it will be launching:
  17. Hey everyone! We just wrapped up another great event with Barrett-Jackson at WestWorld in Scottsdale, AZ! This was the first auction back after the Northeast, West Palm, and Las Vegas auctions were all cancelled earlier this year due to Covid-19 restrictions. The event went very well, with restrictions in place that it was not open to the public, only bidders, consignors, sponsors, and exhibitors. UV lighting and hand cleaning stations were plentiful, everyone entering the premises had a temperature check, and masks were 100% required by everyone in attendance. I wanted to share some pictures I took throughout the event - some cool cars, some vehicles I helped to detail, and so on.
  18. Hi Sven, and welcome to the forum! I've always been a fan of Avalanches and almost bought one, but ended up with a Trailblazer SS instead Do you have any pictures of the severity of the swirl marks? After washing and claying the vehicle, you would start with a small test area (about 18"x18") using our blue Adam's Compound with a Microfiber Cutting Pad or Blue Foam Pad, and then step down to our white Adam's Polish with a White Foam Pad. Once the swirl marks are out, then I would recommend our Ceramic Spray Coating for a very easy to apply protection product, with more durability and longevity than a wax. If you haven't already purchased the Porter Cable - it's a fine and dependable machine - I would recommend spending a little bit more on something like our Swirl Killer 15MM Polisher, especially if you plan on doing a few cars like you mentioned. The Swirl Killer has a long-throw random orbit pattern, which corrects better and faster while still being very safe on the paint. It will have less vibration and be easier on your hands, fingers, and forearms. The Porter Cable is a very solid machine that we used to sell, but there have been significant technology improvements over the last 10 years or so to make paint correction and polishing a less strenuous process. Depending on the backing plate diameter on the Porter Cable, you may need our 5.5" pads (5" backing plate) or 6.5" pads (6" backing plate). The Swirl Killer 15MM Polisher is on sale right now plus an extra 15% off, and it would use our 5.5" pads. If you're looking for a complete compounding and polishing kit, I would recommend our Swirl Killer 15MM Two Step Kit. Keep in mind this kit is strictly compounding and polishing, so I would recommend our Fine Grade Clay Bar & Detail Spray Kit prior to machine polishing, and then the Ceramic Spray Coating Basic Kit for protection after. Here are a few videos detailing all of the things I mentioned above: Clay Bar and Machine Polishing: Ceramic Spray Coating How-To: Let us know if you have any other questions!

  22. There are pad punch kits out there that are very expensive like mc2hill mentioned; however forum rules prevent us from linking competitor websites. One kit is professional use and I believe requires training to purchase it. Cutting pads with scissors could potentially be risky too - if the pad is not cut perfectly, it could wobble, vibrate, and may cause the machine to stall out more easily if the pad is off balance.
  23. Yep, Nick's got it! We recommend 24 hours of cure time indoors away from any moisture or water exposure, then you can apply Ceramic Boost or Graphene Detail Spray. Then we would recommend maintaining with Ceramic Boost/Graphene Detail Spray/CS3 at least once a month. The vehicle can get wet (rain) after 24 hours, but like Nick mentioned, I usually tell customers to wait at least 5-7 days before washing the vehicle with soap.
