  1. I love the borderless towels too. I have around 30 of the older blue (bought 25 off of another forum member about a year ago ), 4 or 5 of the borderless gray, and 2 of the borderless orange for Pumpkin Spice Detail Spray. You can never have too many towels, right?
  2. Hey John, looks like you're right and we might be slowly adding some new Black Friday items a little early I think right now we're only going to do the 4oz Detail Kit in the box, but I do believe we might offer the 4 Bottle Bag separately that you could put the 4oz bottles into. Stay tuned!
  3. No it's not necessary to clean the plastic every time you want to dress it with SVRT, but I would definitely recommend it prior to the first application of SVRT, because you want to get any previous products off of it for the SVRT to work best...especially if the dealership puts anything on there as part of their pre-delivery inspection. Then you can continue maintaining it with SVRT, cleaning periodically with SVRT when necessary.
  4. I'm really digging the all blacked out front bumper on the new one, plus the new headlight design and the added trim around the wheel wells.
  5. Beautiful ride and most excellent results! Thanks for sharing the pictures. Have you ever been around the Uniontown area in the car? I'm pretty sure I've seen it driving around
  6. One orange and one blue hex grip should be able to do the whole vehicle before needing to be cleaned out, but that depends on how bad the surface is when starting with the orange hex grip and Paint Correcting Polish. Once they get too built up with product, most likely after you've done the whole vehicle, I will spray them with APC, let it soak in for a few minutes, then run the applicators under warm water. Use your fingers/thumbs to massage all of the polish out the pads as you squeeze the foam. Once you have clear water squeezing out of the pads, I set them on a white coated wire shelf to let them air dry for about 2 days and they will be good to go again!
  7. The guys already have this one covered, but the only thing I will add is to clean the black plastic step plates and end caps with APC and an Edgeless Utility Towel and then apply SVRT before you start polishing them with Metal Polish #1 and #2. That way you will minimize any chances of staining the plastic.
  8. Hey Sam, as you can see, we're a pretty welcoming bunch here! Thanks for signing up
  9. I would have to agree with Jim. I use the Glass Cleaner quite sparingly, 1-2 quick sprays per window, and it gives me nice clean windows with no streaking. I still have a 1/2 gallon of the old formula because it lasts so long for me. I haven't tried diluting Glass Cleaner, but if you decide to experiment with it, I would strongly suggest using distilled water only to dilute it.
  10. Yes, the white towels can stain to a slight gray color with HGG, especially if you don't pre-treat and wash them right away after using them on a vehicle. The staining does not impact their effectiveness though, and it helps me know which towels I've used with H2O before. I have used the Borderless Gray Towels for HGG application as well, and they worked great on my white diamond Regal G.S.
  11. Sweet! Congrats on the purchase...love my Cyclo here too! I just used it last night on the roof and fenders of a black C5 Z06 I'm working on. It's so comfortable to use with the near zero vibration
  12. Thanks for the share Vincent! Those are oustanding mantle pieces, very unique use of Metal Polish #1 and #2
  13. Wickedly cool Camaro you have there Frank! Thank you for the pictures
  14. No real need to re-wash after claying unless you want to. To me, it's just an extra step that as long as you removed the majority of the Detail Spray/Clay Bar residue, you're fine to apply HGG afterward by hosing the vehicle down like you did. I don't think it's necessary to do a strip wash and apply the Liquid Paint Sealant right away either. The HGG itself is an acrylic based sealant, and it should give you a good 2-3 months of longevity. By all means you could apply a coat of wax over it if you prefer, for even more depth, shine, and protection, but I would personally hold off on doing a strip wash to apply the LPS. Others may have a differing opinion to mine though The truck looks great!
  15. Welcome Scott! I'm about 50 minutes south of Pittsburgh! If you would ever like a demonstration on any of the products, just let me know. I would also recommend stopping out to say hi to Ray at Grabiak Chevrolet. Awesome people and they carry every product in our lineup Oh, and let's see some pictures of those sweet rides. I used to own a 2008 TBSS...sure do miss it sometimes!
  16. I typically use maybe 1/3 of the container to foam down about half of a vehicle, and usually have a little bit left over in the Foam Fun when I'm finished foaming. Did you install the yellow-green metering tip as shown in the video? If you don't install a metering tip, the flow rate will be much higher through the Foam Gun and it will go through the Car Shampoo solution much more quickly. You will want to fill up the container with water almost to the top, then add in about 1oz of Car Shampoo. Screw the lid back on and shake the container around to mix up the water and Car Shampoo. If you add the Car Shampoo to the container first and then spray in water from the hose to fill the container it's going to fill up the container with too much foam.
  17. Hi Chris, to restore them, I would first recommend washing them with either our Car Shampoo or Waterless Wash. Next, to bring the deep black look back to them, you could try a diluted version of our Super VRT - half of a bottle of SVRT with the other half distilled water - however, I must caution that this might add a little bit of shine to them rather than a completely matte look. Once you have applied the diluted SVRT, you could then wipe them down with a premium microfiber towel like one of our Single Soft, Double Soft, or Borderless Gray Towels, to knock down some of the shine that may appear with the SVRT. Edit: An alternative method would be to try our H2O Guard & Gloss. After speaking with Dave (BRZN) last week, he uses HGG on the matte black stripes on his daughter's Camaro, and it did not add any noticeable amount of shine to the stripes.
  18. Hey Maciej! I'm fairly certain I spoke with you over email or our chat system earlier in the week I'm glad to see you found your way over here! As for an idea of where to start, buy one of everything No, no I'm kidding! Like Nick mentioned, the Adam's Daily Driver Detailing Kit would be a good start since it gives you most of the essentials for washing your vehicle and getting a nice layer of acrylic sealant on there in the form of our H2O Guard and Gloss. http://adamspolishes.com/adam-s-daily-driver-detailing-kit.html As always, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
  19. Very impressive updates Chas! Wanna come do my house next?
  20. Hi Esteban! Thanks coming back to the detailing world We've had quite a few new products over the last year, so please let us know if you have any questions. I don't have any recommendations for the vinyl wrap, but hopefully one of our Texas members will chime in! Let's see some pictures of that F150 when you get a chance, thanks
  21. Thanks for the clarification on NOT using clay or a machine polisher on the PPF Dave!
  22. Do you have a link? My garage doors are insulated inside of the steel I think, but I wouldn't mind adding more. Are they magnetic strips or adhesive? I think I saw some on woot last year.
  23. Been there done that with a 16oz of Detail Spray in the non-insulated detached garage before Friends don't let friends have frozen Adam's products
