  1. That's a nice looking set of boards. Welcome to the SEC.
  2. I always felt the RLL BMWs were allowed to write the rule book. If they were attempting to pass the C6.R last year and the driver didn't move over Team Corvette was penalized for blocking. We were at an aero disadvantage as well. I'm not sure if that is the team you reference or not. But it always seemed to me that RLL got more concessions than Rissi, Flying Lizard or Corvette.
  3. Yes, I agree with your apprehension and with your statement. I got interested in ALMS basically from the start. I've been to Petite Le Mans a few times and love the GT class of ALMS. I hope that the merger will not ruin this class of racing. In a perfect world the merger will bring the best of each series together and create a highly enjoyable product where the likes of Chevrolet, SRT, BMW, Ferrari and Porsche will still support factory backed racing teams. Time will tell I guess but for now a big congrats to Doug Fehan and Team Corvette, Tommy Milner and Oliver Gavin and Pratt & Miller for prepping some amazing cars this season. Let's see if they can do it again for the last year of ALMS.
  4. I have enjoyed watching the Spirit of Daytona cars race and win some events this year. With the recently announced merger of ALMS and Grand Am I wonder if we will see the C7R and the SoD on the same track at the same time throughout the season.
  5. Where did you get your rear inner fender liners? I've been contemplating installing some in mine as well.
  6. This makes me realize I need to go get some clean pics of my newest purchase. I got rid of my 05 Silverado at the end of June for a 2012 LTZ Z71. I'll see what I can get loaded here, I'd love a sig, period.

  8. Saw this on Facebook. Decided to come in for answers. Replying to this thread hoping to be notified of said answers when they arrive. Love me some Torch Red Corvette action.

  10. 1999 Pontiac Gran Am was my first car. Got her in 2002 and began hating her about the time the newness wore off. I can't complain though, it got me through high school and college and I sold her in 2005 when I bought my Silverado. I still see it around town from time to time and it looks to be living a pretty rough life, though there is plenty of nostalgia there to a younger, simpler less stressful time, I wouldn't want that car back at all. So to the OP, how's it going on the thoughts of getting your car back? I say if you can make it work financially and really want it then go for it. Looks like the auction has about a day left on it.
  11. Wow, very eclectic 8 year old. I could see making a good mixtape out of those songs.
  12. I heard about Adam's through Patrick Gramm. I finally bit the bullet and ordered the Junkman kit last year and have been hooked ever since.
  13. Here's one more of JM. From the Where the Light Is album. John Mayer Trio performing "Out of my Mind." <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="853" height="510" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/GQkO3SGB3So" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  14. Dylan took the words right out of my mouth. I've seen John in concert 4 times and he blows me away every time. Bill, for more music similar to this I recommend sampling The John Mayer Trio album "TRY!". You could also check out Where the Light Is. It's a two disc live show he did back in 08 that reflects all aspects of his musical style. The first 5 songs are acoustic, just John and his other two guitarists, David Ryan Harris and Robbie McIntosh. In that set he does a pretty good acoustic cover of Tom Petty's "Free Falling". The next 6 or 7 songs is the JM3 and it's all blues. A few of the songs off TRY! are in this set. The final disc is him with his entire band performing a lot of his mainstream hits. All in all it's a great album top to bottom.
  15. For those that don't know John Mayer as being more than a pop singer. <iframe title="YouTube video player" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Pphe3SPtyUQ" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="390" width="640"></iframe>
