  1. Did you use anything on the running boards to clean them up? I can't seem to get mine to come out nicely...they always seem to a dull almost oxidized finish, but I don't believe they are bare metal. Any tips would be much appreciated!
  2. Has the location of the warehouse been decided yet? I would assume around the Boulder/Longmont area?
  3. Could you just flip the seat backs forward when you are parking out in the sun?? I do this in my coupe - if nothing else it prevents the seats from getting so stinking hot and burning your a$$ when you get back in the car
  4. Exactly! Not really going for the all out good looks - just something durable to make it as far through winter as possible. Thanks for the info!
  5. I thought Americana was supposed to last as long or longer than MSW? I am currently contemplating this same situation, while winters in CO are not nearly as brutal, it is tough to reapply a wax in the middle of winter unless we get some of those 70 degree days - but those never seem to happen on weekends I was hoping to apply 2-3 coats of americana to hopefully get me most of the way through winter...
  6. I let it sit on the car the first time for about 30 mins. I thought I was going to pass out trying to get it off. Now I do the 2 panel technique mentioned above and never had any problems. For example I do apply it to half the hood, then go the next helf and apply it and immediatly go back to the first half and remove it. Then go to the 2nd half and remove it. Thats a pretty big area so it is pushing the limits of the cure time for easy removal. So you have to work quick...thats my method anyway.
  7. Just google Porter Cable 7424 Wrench. YOu will find them from $3-4. I would post links but they are to competing companies.
  8. I have always washed them all together in the machine (blue, white drying and glass) I do the gentle cycle on a large load setting (more water) with just a touch of APC and some regular liquid detergent. After that wash cycle I do it again without APC and detergent. Then dry on air or very low heat. Never had a problem with any of the towels, but after reading the glass towel thread above I may do those seperate from now on.
  9. Green Wheel Cleaner Glass Cleaner Leather and Dash Conditioner Leather and Interior Cleaner
  10. You can get everything but the cushion from the Adam's website. I am sure you can find the cushion sold separately.
  11. That is what I use it for too! Works great for the edges along the dash I could never get my hand down there. I even tried a paint stirring stick with a MF wrapped around it but couldn't get enough pressure to clean the window evenly. Great tool for not a lot of money IMO.
  12. Gotcha I thought you knew an inside tip that they would be available soon or they were looking for more testers...I'll get back to waiting patiently
  13. Why call Ashley? Does that mean they have some available? I have been wanting these since this first came out...
  14. I certainly agree, but a very unique alternative for those that don't have a clear bra.
  15. I have even read where people will tape up the entire front end of their car before long road trips to keep the bugs off. No marring from a standard bra and you do'nt have to worry about bugs etc the paint if they are on there too long...I imagine you would get some funny look but if it works!!
