  1. Original Car Shampoo / The Red One... The best scent ever and the best car soap ever.
  2. Gave it a touch up wash Saturday and wiped it down with Ceramic Boost (v1). Still looking pretty good. Ceramic Coating does make it a lot easier to wash the car. Let's see how long this holds up.
  3. One more thing... I think my neighbors think I'm insane.
  4. Thank you. It is tough color to get gloss out of. It's almost impossible to find swirls too. I put it under LEDs, Halogen, Sun, Moon, etc. They're hard to find.
  5. Thanks! The Ceramic Coating process wasn't that hard. I'd say a 2. You just have to work in sections and work your way around the vehicles in 3-5 minute increments or until it gets "tacky" to the touch.
  6. I ceramic coated over the "self healing" Llumar Clear Bra I have on the car too.

It wasn't too bad. The Adams Ceramic Paint Coating came off pretty easy. I allowed it to cure for 3-5 minutes on timer. I checked if the surface was "tacky" like Adam said in his video and removed the coating. The Trim Coating was easy to apply. The windshield coatings instructions weren't as detailed as Adams instructions are. I hope Adams get their own version of this product soon. It was a labor intensive effort. It isn't hard to do, it is just time consuming. I was fortunate my car didn't have many swirls. I only had to use the Adams Finishing Polish. The car looks pretty good in my opinion. Let's hope the coating last a long time. I know it's only a Ford Escape but is is my daily driver and it should be easier to clean from this point on for a year or two.
  8. Just a few things from your website... 1. Add a phone number to your website. Some people only like to call and won't use the form at the bottom. 2. I would also add a physical business address if you have a shop. 3. Are you a mobile detailer or do you have a shop? I don't think I see it mentioned on your site. 4. You call your last process a paint correction, but mention a one step polish. Do offer multiple step polish/compound as well? If you do, I would mention it. You may want to mention paint correction is per hour fee based on the job, etc. 5. Post your business hours (if applicable) Otherwise looks great and good luck.
  9. I was wondering... since Adams Polishes Car Shampoo is pH neutral would soaking even help? pH neutral soap I thought was only to provide lubricity. The rinsing stages and the wash mitt is what gets rid of the dirt on the car surface.
  10. Adam's used the hex pads back in 2011ish for the Porter Cable. Adam's also used flat face pads with the Flex in 2011ish. I still have both pad styles. Adams currently uses the waffle/egg crate style pads now. What I'd like to know is the Adams flat pad the same cut (white/orange) as the current pad? Also are the black microfiber pads (orange foam base) and the black microfiber pad (white foam base) are they the same cut as the white pad (blue foam base). I don't have the new pads, but I do have the current polishes.
  11. I still have some Machine Super Wax (really a sealant) from 2011. Which is the predecessor to Machine Super Sealant and Paint Sealant. I used it a friends car and the product still works, the issue with the product is you had to let it set for like 30 minutes and you have to wait 24 hours to put any other product over it (glaze, wax, etc.). MSS was an improvement I think over MSW. Paint Sealant is better than both (easier to apply, less set up time).
  12. Does the Adams Mini Swirl Killer have better correcting ability than a PC with a 4" pad set up? I use a Flex 3401 for the whole car, but the tight spots can be a pain. I just don't feel the PC does as well as it could in small hard to reach areas. Is the Mini Swirl Killer a big upgrade? Thanks.
  13. I purchased the kit because I am a sick individual. I will try and block off a weekend to do this in a couple of weeks. It should be fun. I just paint corrected my car 2-3 weeks so it should only be the finishing polish that I need. I will be applying this to my 2017 Ford Escape daily driver.
  14. Can you use it on the windshield and windows or just continue to use glass sealant? xpel does day you can use it on the clear bra. Has anyone tried it? Does it effect the self healing properties?
  15. Clay, Polish, then coat? In the future down the line can detail spray still be used as a drying agent after washing? What happens if you get it on trim or glass, etc? Do I tape off the clear bra?
