  1. Looks sharp. We too have a black car, looks very nice right after a detail. Nothing like black paint.
  2. If you never touch the finish there's a good chance not to get swirls
  3. I would be concerned as to how long the strips would last but I would have them on a Camaro if I bought one, looks sharp.
  4. I have a TV also in my shop, just not one that fancy. I really love your vids dude. The strips looked amazing btw.
  5. Very nice Dylan. Another WOW next to you're name. Good stuff, helpful for so many with stripes. What up with that big olé' TV in your carport? Does it have a bar also?
  6. Cut the bar in half, if you drop it you have a backup. Once you clay your rims don't use it on your paint, save that peice only for your rims. What I do anyways. Too much crap on the rims, it will load up your clay quick.
  7. A.J, that's freaking sick dude! Trying to get my 08' Toyota Rav4 looking that sharpe. I still have work to do, it's taking time to get it as i want it.
  8. Sure will, my wife and I are using it on everything around the house. I love it, on a full tank (48 oz) I can run it non-stop for about 45 minutes.
  9. I use my vapor steamer followed by an extractor. They always come out looking brand new. I have an $1800 steamer made by Goodway but it's very heavy, just bought the McCulloch 1275 ($124.00), it's a freaking beast, light, rolls very easy, great heat and pressure. Think I'll be using it over my $1800 rig. I also use it to clean the engine, dries fast and the outcome is simply amazing.

  11. A.J is right, if you never used a machine to polish then you should start with the PC. I never used the Flex but heard from many that it has a lot of bite to it. I use my rotary now only if really needed, the PC will do everything that I need it to do. If I were you I'd stay away from the edges, the clear is really thin there, maybe you can practice on a junk car to see how to control the machine. A friend of mine ask if he could use my rotary, I asked him if he used one before, he said yes, the outcome of his work was bad, really bad, the Flex can do as much damage as of the rotary, maybe not as fast but you can burn paint with it.
  12. Nice vid A.J. You are such a tease, we want to know soon what unit that you used to dry the car.
  13. "California Duster" is a must, yes it does remove most of the dust and safely if used correctly. I love your vid A.J on how to use it. Some are scared to use it thinking it will scratch their paint, I'm scared not to use it worried it might cause scatches with just DS or WW.
  14. I use my rotary for big jobs but now love my PC. My drill is being used more these days, great work using it, practice on an old car that has very bad paint to learn how to safely use it, comes in handy on removing deep scratches and headlamps.
  15. Do you like watching football and drinking beer?
