  1. Chet, you want to apply the MSS directly to your freshly polished and clean paint. The sealant bonds directly to the paint. If you put it over the glaze, as the glaze comes off, so does the sealant. The same applies to the quick sealant. Apply directly to the clean paint. BG does not last long. Some here apply either Buttery or Americana Wax over the BG to make it last longer
  2. It's really big and doesn't effect us??? HUGE big? I have plenty of guesses, but I'll just sit back and wait.....
  3. Welcome Justin! A great bunch of guys and gals here!
  4. I tried using the blue applicator with very limited success. Ultimately I ended up using an old micro-fiber towel to apply and polish with. Then used an Adam's Single soft to wipe clean.
  5. So order the 2 pack for 14.95 (Now they are $7.50each) and use the 15% fathers day sale and they are $6.38 each. Time to stock up!
  6. And while it is not great on eggs, it is pretty good on eggs. Detail spray in Glass Cleaner? Did not know that. My typical regime when cleaning my iPone and various laptops (including screens) is Glass Cleaner followed up by a spritz of Detail Spray. (Probably the Detail Spray more for the smell )
  7. Hey Aaron, I can speak from experience. After one very mild winter, the Chrome Clad wheels on my GMC looked bad. I washed with Green Wheel Cleaner and they still looked dull. I then tried revive and the look like new again. Quick Sealant on top and they really do shine.
  8. Typically optional step two just automatically happens for me. And to Dan, sweet looking car. I like the color.
  9. Hmmm...... now that is not a bad idea. Of course I've been married for over 20 years, but for you youngsters out there, I thing Dave is on to something.
  10. Not only that, but BEFORE and AFTER. So Mook, am I misreading this? Every time you wash your microfibers, you detail the machine TWICE? Don't let my wife see this thread!
  11. I love buttery. Since my vehicles are daily drivers and I don't have time to keep them perfect. (Or even get them perfect ) The limited filling properties that buttery has helps the look. Plus, it is by far my favorite smelling Adam's product.
  12. I'm fairly certain the label on the Leather and Interior Cleaner says to do just that. I only use the Leather and Interior Cleaner when the seat/interior surface is really dirty. Normally I just use the Leather and Interior Conditioner as a cleaner.
  13. I agree with Mark. Buttery lasts about a month on my car and truck that get driven daily, parked outside, and washed once a week. But sometimes when I need therapy, (the calming of rubbing paint ) I'll reapply it every two to three weeks.
  14. I have noticed if I use smart post to my house (residence), it is cheaper. But if I have stuff shipped to my office (business), it is the same as the regular FedEX ground. The other issue I have is the USPS service where I live is terrible. I work at home quite a bit and will always receive a "sorry we missed you" in the mail box even though I am home. Thus I have to drive down to the PO and get the package.
  15. The Adam's Quick Sealant Kit would meet your needs. Actually how I stumbled upon Adam's was by looking for a good/easy paint sealant or wax that I could apply by hand in any conditions (don't have too much shade where I live) At that time, AQS was not available. I started by using BCW. Now that the AQS is out, my regiment is AQS covered by buttery once a month or so. Now the great guys and gals here will give you the absolute best advice on getting your paint perfect, but you don't have to start out that way. I was already familiar with clay bars and claying automotive paint, so that was an easy step for me to add. I also use Adam's Revive Fine Hand Polish after claying and before AQS. Just be warned, every Adam's product does exactly what they say, and very well. So as you go, your ride will look better and better. It's a slippery slope, and before long, you will have a cabnet full of great Adam's products.
  16. Before Green Wheel cleaner existed, I believe Adam's recommended APC to clean wheels. Just make sure to not let it dry. I also imagine it takes any sealant/wax off of the wheels faster than GWC. You may consider just using some water with Adam's Car Wash in it in a spray bottle. That's what I do with my wheels after getting them clean with GWC. That is, if they are really dirty, I use GWC, otherwise I just use the soapy water mixture.
  17. Shear brilliance! I have the same problem and it just frustrates me. I'll spend 5 mintes wrestling with the bucket and hose trying to get that last bit of dirty water out of the bucket!!!! I end up wet, get water on the car/truck..... Chewy, you are my hero! At least for today.
  18. Welcome Jason. I really great group of guys and gals here!
  19. I'm sure more experienced people will chime in, but I have used revive to successfully clean swirled guage clusters. Also I thought there was a post not too long ago about somebody using revive to clean jeep soft-top windows that were swirled.
  20. Wasn't there a thread about the natural oils in the wash mitt causing less suds? And if you wash the mitt with APC once be fore using, it removes the oils and all is good? Or was I just having yet another Adam's dream?
  21. In-N-Out will make it just as slippery as SVRT and won't last as long. On my truck, I use SVRT and just warn the wife.
  22. CUC is probably the most amazing product in the Adam's lineup. Not just for dirty floor mats!
