  1. I'm guessing the winky face meant it was just a playful question. No harm no foul.
  2. I'm patiently waiting for a spring special mostly because that means that (hopefully) the winter weather will be coming to an end.
  3. To get all techy you can get a tester similar to what the Baron used in this post http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/25801-2013-nissan-gt-r/?hl=nissan. Never used one but I'm sure some people can chime in on it. EDIT: This is only for paint thickness not clear coat thickness.
  4. The OP did say he knows he didn't use this correctly but there are two things that stand out to me. It sounds like you needed two buckets and not just one. You were probably just pulling the dirt off the vehicle, putting it in your wash bucket, and then putting it right back on your vehicle (thus the haze). Definitely need to invest in two bigger buckets both with grit guards. Also, I'm not sure which silver towels you're using but either the metal polishing towels or the utility towels probably aren't the best for this.
  5. Welcome! I wouldn't be surprised is most people start with that fear. Watch the videos then dive right it in. Nothing to fear!
  6. I think even the term drool-worthy doesn't even do this justice. Beautiful.
  7. From my understanding, the detail spray might not have enough lubricity to clean without introducing scratches. I never used waterless wash much but I'm very interested in the new Rinseless Car Wash(http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-1013-new-adams-rinseless-car-wash.aspx). This will be in my next order for sure. I will be be using the touchless car wash to get most of the road grime off the car then bring it back to my garage for the Rinseless Wash. When I didn't have a garage, I found a local car wash place that has a bay that you can pull in and close the doors on both ends. It said to not wash by hand but I was always courteous of others and did it anyway. At least it was out of the cold wind.
  8. Absolutely. I have a pair of waterproof and chemical safe gloves (from a previous job) that helps a ton.
  9. Interesting tip. Thanks! Claying just feels good once it's done. If you do the baggie test before and after and can notice the difference, it's really worth it.
  10. Looks fantastic! Did you take it for a spin around the block to make sure the wax stayed on? (My dream car btw)
  11. I'm only 26 but I'm an old soul. I wish times were like "the old days".
  12. P.S. - What camera are you using?
