  1. Detail spray! :iagree:I second the 3 in 1! It has worked well for me. It's fairly cheap and you will find it in about any Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, or Ace.
  2. Thanks for the info and encouragement! I guess I will need to get a set of 4" pads on the way! And a few other goodies! I'll post some pics once I get her done!
  3. Awesome work Nick! They look great! I have a black 2006 CTS that I plan on correcting soon. Any tips or suggestions from working with these two? Did you take any special care around the door handles, door trim, and windshield trim along the a-pillar? I'm not sure if I can touch these areas up with the PC or should steer clear. Thanks in advance for the info! Keep up the nice work! AJ
  4. In life I'm generally a neat freak with a side of OCD. I've always loved cars and kept them clean but not totally pristine. After purchasing a new (to me) car and finding this forum... My neat freak/OCD has taken hold...Now pristine is all I want! Now that I have "seen the shine", I cringe when I see everyone in line at the local gas station/car wash waiting for their cars and think "I don't believe I used to do that too!" Thanks for the enlightenment!
  5. Awesome! I've read a few different techniques now as far as glaze then wax and even glaze again over the wax. Sound straight forward. I caught Adam's trick in one of the videos... Looks like the way to go! Your work looks amazing and I'm hoping for the same results on black. I've been curious on how everyone is getting there... Especially ones that are dripping! Thanks for the info! AJ
  6. It looks like you have a lot of opportunity to learn while correcting this one. Good luck! Can't wait to see how it turns out! I'm a newbie detailer and have a project like this to work on myself. It should be a good place to learn!!
  7. Looks fantastic! Do you happen to have a secret application sequence you would care to share?! Just glaze then wax? Thanks!
  8. Great info! Thanks for sharing! Looks like I need to clear an "Adam's" place in the house to beat the Phoenix heat!
  9. Thanks everyone!!! Looks like I need to get some waterless wash on the way. I'm interested to see how it cuts the static...It's the primary suspect! Theis - I live south east of Phoenix in Gilbert, transplanted 12 years ago from PA. What part of Houston are you in? My parents live out there. Thanks again!
  10. Hi! My name is AJ, and I'm an Adam's addict... I've spent the past week or so reading all through the forum and watching all the videos. I just want to say that the Adam's community is top notch! I have been impressed with the help, knowledge, and responsiveness from the members. Keep it up! I honestly haven't tried the products yet, but I realized I couldn't go wrong with a group like this supporting it! I'm patiently awaiting my order to arrive this week to correct my new baby. A couple weeks ago I picked up a black '06 Cadillac CTS-V from an older gentleman that had the car as his Sunday driver. I fell in love the minute I laid eyes on the car! It's 6 years old with 6,100 Sunday miles, and has never seen rain! Unfortunately it looks like he has put it through the full service car wash a few times and could use a little help... I have a quick question about dust control. She is a black car and attracts dust like crazy her in AZ. What is the best way to beat the dust and clean with out washing? I hear the Cali duster is a not the best bet. This will be my garage kept Sunday driver as well. I'm also new to detailing and a bit of a perfectionist...So this could be really fun for me or a nightmare...Time will tell! Here is a shot of her rear end! (safe for work) Just to get an idea of the condition of the car... I'll post some more pictures of before and after the correction. Thanks in advance for all of the help! AJ
