    Wicked Wagon

I'll use this thread to post pictures and progress if my CTS-V Wagon. So far the car had only been lowered and windows tinted. I started getting the itch to change a few things. As always I start with a wash. I started with pulling the bumper to get access to the headlights. The headlights went to the oven to be separated. After disassembly I had access to the orange marker which was painted black. I will also be upgrading to LED daytime running lights. While the bumper was off I was lucky to get a smoking deal on some ho fast parts. Upper pulley, larger heat exchanger and dual oil catch cans. The install is all still in work. I also picked up a ZL1 supercharger lid to replace the stock ugly one. It will add better cooling for the supercharger as well. I had it milled to clear my hood the powder coated a matte textured red. I'm still waiting on parts and should it mostly wrapped up next week.
  2. Thanks, this car puts down a little over 600hp to the wheels and sounds insane.
  3. I was tasked with getting this beautiful M6 show ready.
  4. We had done great weather this past weekend here in Wichita. I had the wagon out and snapped a few pictures.
  5. Thanks guys. If you have any questions about what all was done please ask. I never have the time to sit down and do a full write up on these cars.
  6. This is a new car with 1300 miles on the clock. The owner will be driving the heck out of this thing. I performed a 3 step polish on it with a few areas that need a little more attention. A total of 20 hours spent on this sweet ride.
  7. Thanks, it's been a good month. It would be great if this trend of nice cars continues.
  8. One if those cars you can't stop looking at. I spent a good amount of time removing old polish/wax residue around all the decals and stripes. The paint wasn't too bad of shape but still needed help. The owner gets out and drives this car. It's been driven to almost every GT rally since it was new.
  9. After the car show Sunday I finally decided it was time to put the wagon away for the last bit of winter left. I've been looking forward to throwing this cover on for a few months now. The cover is the custom weave indoor cover but I do leave my garage door open for extended periods so I also threw my factory GM cover on top. It's stretchy, soft and fits great. The kids were happy to have more room in the garage to play.
  10. Thanks Chas, I appreciate the support.
  11. I've spoken with him about what the love marks he put back in the paint. I'll be working with him so it doesn't happen again. I'm his eyes it still looks fantastic. So he's happy with the way the car looks.
  12. The paint on this car is very hard. I used a very aggressive compound for the deeper defects.
  13. This one needed serious help. 25 hours into this 800 hp beast then we get to the car show and the owner wiped it down with looked like a bath towel. I was very frustrated and couldn't help but ask what happened to his paint. Long story short, this Viper will be at a few shows this year as a demo car. Before my work was destroyed here's what she looked like. Finished with Brilliant Glaze and coat of Patriot.

    The Shizvelle

It won favorite Chevy. No big awards but the competition was tough. He has about $100k into his build. Nowhere ne'er what the other cars had into them.

    The Shizvelle

I had the pleasure to do the final polish and detail on this beautiful custom 67 Chevelle.
  16. 2005 Ford GTand a 2000 Dodge Viper ACR both over 750HP.
  17. Here's a few pictures of a Chevelle I'm getting ready for a local car show. Lots of leftover marks from the rotory. Honestly this car should have been wet sanded again. I'm about 20 hours in. I have about 8 more hours left in it. The owner is super happy with the results.
  18. I find myself having fantastic results with just PCP and the Orange foam pad. Unless the paint is super soft like in a Lexus. Even black paint looks outstanding. Her's a few examples.
  19. Find a friend with sheet metal skills and you could have them make you another bottle holder.
