  1. I have an escalade and go through the same issue. I picked up a tire step and use that its sturdy and compact during washing, or I stand on the tire and hold on the cross bar for the roof rack.
  2. 2-3 layers of blue tape on the inside of the socket to protect the lugs from excessive marring. Plus if you wad a ball of blu tape and stick in the center the sticky side will hold the lug nut from falling out. Plus it helps on wheels with a deep recess for the lugs.
  3. Welcome I did the same thing with my truck during the hurricane.
  4. Welcome! I still have a fixation with red G8's awesome car.
  5. Welcome to the club there is a ton to learn from the people on this site. It starts with the detail spray and spirals out of control from there. I now use Adams entire line up.
  6. I can't say I have used it or ever bought a coating system from the dealer. I would save the money and get some sealant and wax.
  7. Stewart ave car wash in Levittown is open during the winter. Open bays just bring Adam's supplies. You don't happen to post on vortex as well?
  8. Obligatory VW "lower it" I like the interior it's a nice break from the plaid and overall good looking car. Get some spacers from ECS on the wheels
  9. Welcome! Prepare to learn a lot from these guys and gals. I sure have
  10. I did a variation this weekend. I wiped it down with and old microfiber and scuffed it with the bottom of my sneaker. It worked she is not slipping and sliding! THANK YOU fellas for the responses!
  11. Quick question maybe someone can point me in the right direction. I have running boards on my truck. I picked up some SVRT and tried it on them over the weekend. They looked better than new! The downside they were slippery as heck. I dont want my better half to fall and injure herself. I can get in and out with out the running board. She is a bit shorter and needs them. Will the Milk version of SVRT cut down on the slip and slide factor and still keep them nice? Or should I try something else? Quick selant, In and Out Spray?
  12. Taylor is an inspiration to me. KCCO Taylor!
  13. That sounds like a nice set up. Shocking to see the coolers rigged up like that. Why the heck didn't they run ss braid for both or even braided teflon in black. They make the appropriate fittings to do it. Shaking my head at the rubber lines just hose clamped on the hard line. Good move getting it out of there. I can't wait to see the progress.
