  1. Hey guys, a month ago I started using a foam cannon and did use the regular shampoo and DS couple of times but last weekend I decided to use a sample packet of ultra foam I received in a mystery box along with a new Pumpkin Spice DS and I'm seeing a shine that has me baffled. My car looks like it has been polished. My car was coated with G&G few months ago but I've never seen the shine this good. I thought it was the lighting but it's not, after inspecting it for 2 days and I'm receiving comments from others. I'm trying to figure out if it's coming from the ultra foam or the Spice DS. Is the Spice any different from regular DS? I plan to use the regular shampoo next weekend with the Spice DS to find out but until then, what are your thoughts on Ultra Foam? Have you noticed any difference?
  2. If I had to just pick one. The original detail spray brings a smile to my face every time I spray that bottle. Can’t wait till they make an Interior cleaner with the detail spray scent!!!

  5. Hi so, the black car is clayed, polished, sealed and waxed. What do you do after weekly washing the car. Do you wipe down with detail spray or put on glaze. Thank you
  6. Anyone else hoping that Adams comes out with gallons for a Memorial Day limited edition DS?
  7. Hi guys I just made an order and thought I'd try out some adams detail spray and microfibers . I also got a sidekick blaster(love that thing )anyway my question is about the detail spray . I'm actually not impressed with it ,so I must be doing something wrong. I washed and dried with the blaster then went around with the spray to wipe up any water spots etc . I find that it's more like a spray wax ,I kept having to wipe it in and would get all kinds of streaking and have to turn over the towel to buff off the residue. Also i had to pinch the edge of the towel to keep it from slipping out of my hands .I don't have those kind of issues with other brand detail sprays or diluted rinseless . Any input is welcomed thanks in advance
  8. I will start off by saying there are sooooooo many products available that figuring out what I want has been a daunting task. I have spent some time reading and reading and reading and this is what I am thinking right now, but I want to run it by some other people first. Looking to do the same thing to my daily driver and my fun car. Both cars are white with black wheels. The fun car is garage kept while the daily driver gets exposed to the elements here in Illinois (Rain, Snow, Ice, Humidity). Does this order of events sounds ok? Wash with Car Shampoo Clay car with Detail Spray Rinse car off Clean wheels with Wheel Cleaner Clean tires with Tire and Rubber Cleaner Apply H2O Guard and Gloss to wheels Apply Tire Shine to tires Seal car with Paint Sealant Wax car with Buttery Wax Rinse car and followup with H2O Guard and Gloss I am really looking to understand whether the Paint Sealant/Buttery Wax/H2O Guard and Gloss combo on the car is going to give me that wonderful shine and protection. Perhaps step 10 should be done just during maintenance washes? Also, it there a way to remove all products after application if things go terribly? I was thinking Dawn dish soap?
  9. New Member question here - I have been using detail spray after every wash while I dry the car. When (why) would I use the H2O G&G? In place of the detail spray? Thanks!
  10. Hi everyone! I just wanted to share some pictures of my wash today. H2O G&G is amazing! embarrassed to say I am late to the party, and this was my first time using it. I applied it using the wet method and topped it off with the pumpkin spice detail spray. For some reason I thought I would not like the smell but it actually smells pretty good. I do miss the old original smell. I still have a 36oz bottle which I cleaned out with APC and dried, and it still smells! but anyways here are the pictures. One question on the h2O G&G, does it have a certain spray head? in the video it seems to spray a finer mist and I got more of splats? even after shaking for 60 sec.
  11. Let's hear your thoughts and see your pictures! Please post your feedback here, and if you received a bottle of our Limited Edition Pumpkin Spice Detail Spray go leave a review on the product page for us too!
  12. Alright, so questions! Specifically, a few niggles with the current process I have for working on my car that I feel need improvement. I'm looking to improve my process, so I submit them to you, Oh Fellow Shine Addicts. Clay and Tape-up So before I polish, I always ensure the finish is as free of particulates as possible by claying, using Detail Spray as the lubricant. And before polishing, I tape up some of the rubber and painted trim to ensure that I'm only hitting the surfaces I want polished. Trick is that the painter's tape adhesive isn't that strong, so either the tape loosens with exposure to the copious amounts of detail spray needed for claying, or it won't stick after the fact. So that's the question here, then... How do you guys move from clay to tape and deal with the effect of detail spray on the tape? Working Across Multiple Days So I plan to polish my car next weekend. Wash, clay, light polish - I hope to only need FMP since I haven't driven the car much this year - and then a seal and wax. Trick is that I plan to do it over multiple days. To try to reduce the amount of dust in my garage, I plan to sweep it out and then give the floor a quick mopping to get up the fine dust so that moving about in the garage doesn't kick stuff up. But first is the wash and clay, nice and quick. Next day will be the polish and maybe the seal. Then I need to let the MSS set for 24 hours. Then I can put a coat of Americana on. Between days, however, should I try to drape something over the car to protect it? I'd previously tried using old bedsheets lightly draped over it, but the coverage was rather patchwork. So that's the question here, then... How would or do you protect the car from dust when doing paint work over multiple days? Thanks, all, for the tips and help!
