2001 Ford Explorer interior cleaning.

This was a friends car they wanted to have cleaned so they could sell it. The car had not been touched in 11 years so you can imagined how bad it was. I got most everything out of the carpet and I was pretty happy with the turn out with the time they gave.

Came out great Todd, I can't believe someone let any vehicle get that bad. Did you use a hot water extractor?

 

Looks like a home unit in the last picture, with a hand attachment. I'm thinking more along the lines of a Durmaid or Mytee.

Yes I used an extractor and a carpet cleaner took 10 hours to finish and yes it smelled like crap.

I've had a few cars like this and have wanted to walk away, but I do it anyway. Typically the onwers of these cars say, "It's not too bad I keep it pretty clean". I don't know why people let their cars get this bad, you spend so much time in the. You would figure you would want it as clean as your house.

Ya I never quote interior cleaning till I see it. I have a starting base price but it goes up depending how bad it is.

OH EM GEE! Is your friend in the Mob? That looks the car from pulp fiction after a unfortunate incident with a bullet to the face. Maybe just kids, they have been known to reek that kind of havoc on interiors

How/what did you used to clean around seat frames? Long brushes and c&uc?

HVAC cleaner and I use a long brush with med bristles around the seat frame and a steamer.
