What Did You Wash, Shine, and or Polish Today

Holder

Recommended Posts

I've been thinking, instead of starting a new thread for every time I have a picture to share of what I worked on for the day. I was thinking to start a thread everyone can add to. So similar to the "what did you do today" thread I was wanting a thread where everyone can post up What You Washed, Shined, and or Polished for the day. Share what products you used and what you did and show some before and after shots. I'm not trying to take away from full detail write ups just want a place for folks to show off what they're shining up.

So anyway, I'll start and we'll see if this takes off.

72 El Camino SS, Started with a WW then IPA whipe down. Clayed and polished with the Flex. This wasn't my best results, I only went as far as the customer wanted me to on the paint correction. This thing was in bad shape.

After I was done with the El Camino SS I asked if I could was his wife's 94 Camaro Z28. She is the original owner and the car is all original. This was a beautiful car.

I polished out my brother's Fender guitar today, it was all scratched up on the front and back.

I used a 4" orange pad with S&HR on the PC, came out very well:

*Sorry didn't take before pictures

Hey Mark, that guitar looks awesome. Any chance you put any protection on it like Quick Sealant?

No, unfortunately that is one of the few products I've yet to try out.

It's on my list

I can't wait to contribute to this thread!

Hey Andrew, that el Camino was in real bad shape. Did you do any work under the hood on it?

I wish I could see the rest of the pictures. Work network here is not a fan of Photobucket it seems.

Hope no one is annoyed with all my pictures. I just really enjoy sharing what I've been working on. I've so busy you would think detailing was my full time job.

Anyway here's the Hyundai Genesis I polished up today. I was fixing some swirls installed by a "professional" detail shop. Some Adam's products took care of those.

I had to get the Cruze ready for it's 1600 mile round trip voyage. Started with a 2 bucket strip wash, then clayed and polished. Treated all rubber/plastics with Super VRT. Applied Quick Sealant to entire care. Then applied Americana Paste wax. Finished with another coat of Quick Sealant on leading edges of the car for easy clean up. Also I used revive polish on the wheels then applied Quick Sealant.
