LSX Maestro Posted May 1, 2018 Share Posted May 1, 2018 Did my big Duramax. Took me about 5-6 hours. I strip washed, decon, clayed, and sealed it. I wimped out on polishing the whole truck, it doesn't need it that bad and it is white, plus it looked like a humungous task. Ls1transam Posted May 3, 2018 Share Posted May 3, 2018 Played with the Ibrid nano some today. Been practicing with it a lot. Some heavy scratches on this fender. I used the Ibrid in the rotary function first. Then switched to the DA function to remove the slight swirls the rotary left behind. Some deeper scratches remained but way better. I need some better foam and MF pads for it. I think that would have gotten rid of more defects, or some 3k grit sand paper. The blue cutting pads and polish that come in the kit are garbage IMO. Ls1transam Posted May 18, 2018 Share Posted May 18, 2018 I got bored and had an idea. I polished out a door on an old Corolla we have. Then I put a competitors wheel coating on the door.
