What Did You Wash, Shine, and or Polish Today

Did my big Duramax.  Took me about 5-6 hours.  I strip washed, decon, clayed, and sealed it.  I wimped out on polishing the whole truck, it doesn't need it that bad and it is white, plus it looked like a humungous task.   I tried a new standalone sealant, going to see how it compares to the previous LPS + HGG process I followed.

Played with the Ibrid nano some today. Been practicing with it a lot. Some heavy scratches on this fender. I used the Ibrid in the rotary function first. Then switched to the DA function to remove the slight swirls the rotary left behind.

Some deeper scratches remained but way better. I need some better foam and MF pads for it. I think that would have gotten rid of more defects, or some 3k grit sand paper. The blue cutting pads and polish that come in the kit are garbage IMO. The yellow pad and polish are great though.

I got bored and had an idea. I polished out a door on an old Corolla we have. Then I put a competitors wheel coating on the door. I mean wheel coating goes on wheels that have clear coat so why not? Any way it came out great lol. We’ll see how it holds up.

Everyone's doing some great work.  I'm convinced it's  never going to stop raining here this summer. In the meantime,  we discovered mice in the basement so that's my mission for now.  Guess they're probably in the attic too.  Frustrating. ?

Just keep them out of the garage and away from the cars. :xfingers:
