Stunning! One day I'll have a G8 or Ute to complete my Holden collection...one day many years from now most likely 😂

I deleted your duplicate post as requested too 🙂

Thanx Dan! Yup, a Ute would be a great addition 👍👍👍

Since it isn't right hand drive I'm guessing you Holdenized a Chevy SS? Looks great either way, would love to import a Maloo SS with a manual.

Didn't get to wash today, but with the way the pollen is hitting out here both cars are tinted yellow/green (have to keep the windows closed as you drive off to not coat the interior).

Chevy SS taken back to its Aussie roots (except for that pesky steering wheel bit) 😉

A quick clean up on my brothers 2018 Equinox Redline Edition.  It has a 20 month old cquartz coating and it was still somewhat there.  His lease is up in 3 months so not looking for a full polish and recoat as he is not going to keep it.  A quick once over with Essence Plus and topped with a double coat of Adams UV spray coating.  Good enough for 3 months.

Given that the emblem is well over 50 years old, it came out pretty good for the 1st and 2nd pass.  I have not touched the wheels yet, but given how the emblem cleaned up, I'm expecting them to turn out pretty good also.

There is a car behind the emblem and it is sitting in my garage and was sitting in another garage for over 6 years and only driven a couple of times over the period.  The car itself needs some paint correction and a few parts replaced.  The hood is the part that concerns me the most, there is what appears to be a pretty significant rub mark.

Maybe by next weekend, I'll be ready to show the whole car.

Car was dried after a sheeting rinse.  Wheels and tires were cleaned with Adam’s APC and Tire & Rubber Cleaner. After drying, the wheels got a shpritz of Ceramic Boost and the tires got 2 coats of Tire Armor. Interior got wiped down with Leather & Interior Cleaner then treated to Sweet Almond Interior Detailer w/Microban. I’m very impressed with the new Interior Detailer; love the scent and love the finish.

Yesterday, I finally took the time to get some of the dust off of my toy as it is sitting in the garage.

I washed the wheels first with a 1:1 eAPC for the tires, wheels, wheel well, and surrounding panels. Then, I hit the tires with TRC, followed by WC. After that, I used UF soap, but I had to act quickly as the sun was strong, but the washing step seems to be the quickest part of the process.

After rinsing, I immediately brought the car inside the garage to cool down and dry off, using DS as the lubricant. Following that, I waxed all panels with BW and used BG on the external glass and lights. Today I’m going to focus on the interior.

This morning I rolled the winter wheel/tires out into the driveway for a good scrubbing. I used an OTC tire and wheel cleaner, brushes and a boars hair brush to get them squeaky clean. After I dried them I rolled them back in the garage to continue drying overnight. Tomorrow I'll wipe them down with a panel wipe and recoat them with leftover McKee’s Wheel Coating and tires will get Adam’s Tire Armor. Then it’s off to the corner of the garage until November.

Went fishing today and did well until the sun ( and everybody else) came out. Walking back to the car I noticed bird dookie on three panels and the windshield. This is why I always have a small bottle of Adam’s Detail Spray and an old Adam’s MF towel with me.

I noticed the dookie beaded up on top of Ceramic Boost. It also made it so so easy to clean off. 👍🏼👍🏼

We went to see my Dad on Friday (a 2 hour trip), and, sadly, it is spring love bug season (they come back in the fall too).  Once we arrived I cleaned them off the hood, but left the bumper/grill & windshield.  Got more on the way home, and was not happy leaving them, but needed to do yardwork on Saturday, and we were making another road trip on Sunday.  I was a little concerned about the acid from the splattered bugs etching into the paint.  I sprayed Rinsless Wash (diluted to wash strength) on the Saturday morning and cleaned the windshield, and that seemed to help.

Finally Sunday evening I was able to FINALLY get them off!  Before the wash, I pre-treated the hood, grill, windshield, and mirrors with Waterless Wash, then soaked a MF towel in the wash bucket and placed that over the bugs on the hood & grill while I washed the rest of the car.  The soaking helped, and the bugs just wiped off.

My wife was very pleased to have a clean car again!

Been neglecting the cars since the virus stuff hit and rainy days and other priorities have taken over but I get around to detailing my gf's Murano and my Silverado on Thursday/Friday. If anyone has a shortcut for cleaning that muraono grill please let me know. It's was so tedious.  I love the hardness of the clear on the Murano. My Silverado scratches when the wind blows. I still need to clay and do a light buff to the Murano and ceramic coat it since I can fit it in the garage overnight. I only had time to seal the paint but it'll do for now.

@dirtymarcus not bad looking for a Murano, my parents have an older one that I take care of.  For that grill you can use one of the following brushes...

I use the interior one on my interior and have a separate interior one for my black wheels on the Tahoe.   Then I use the lug brush on tougher wheels like my Silverado and wifes  CRV.

@Nickfire20 Thanks!  IDK why i didnt think of the interior brush, i have a few.  I despise these new grills nissan and toyota/lexus are going too.  They look good but damn they suck to clean.  I will say this, the turbo stick makes quick work of those wheels and the barrels.  I use the wheel brosh for the faces and the turbo stick for the spokes.  It saves me about 5 minutes or so per wheel if not more.

Car was already clean (not that this one gets too dirty, LOL) , but I did to a quick, first time try, CS3 to get some bugs and stuff off the front.  Liked it.  This pic is freshly finished two coats of Wheel Coating on the wheels and a two step Correcting Polish/Polish job on the new carbon fiber wing (noteworthy is the wing is not clear coated yet.  Still in the resin finish.  May get it cleared)...
