Adam's Total Interior Detailer Discussion

Question

I noticed in the video Adam said it does not replace the Leather Interior Cleaner and Conditioner. I like to apply the Leather Conditioner over everything, has a little shine, but wipe it down with SS, looks good. But If I use this new product, it will take all that off the dash and all panels right?

Can't wait to throw my TID to use when it arrives. I'll definitely put some comments on here and as well under the reviews on the store site.

I absolutely love the IDS now being available. I'll be ordering some of those as well.

Yes. The waterless towels will work for interior detailing as well... just depends on your preference. The only issue I've experienced with using WW and the new cleaner is that if you don't wipe it down evenly you see some remnants of the waffle pattern. Easily fixed with another wipe, but be aware of that is all.

Cool, mine is coming tomorrow so I will try it out. Thanks

I ordered a gallon and some other items and will be testing it on my vehicle sometime next week when it arrives (my interior hasn't been cleaned all winter):willy:. I am extremely excited to use this new product. I will be posting pictures and a decent write up on it to help others out

The swabs worked really well. They pick up dirt much better than qtips although they were a bit bigger than I'd like for a few places.

TID worked really well on a fairly dirty interior today. I wasn't expecting it to clean up things as well as it did.

I even tried cleaning some of the really dirty leather with the interior brush and the TID. It definitely took a bit more work than leather and interior cleaner though but it did work.

If i use the leather and interior cleaner and then the conditioner and then every detail between use the TID will it degrade the conditioner i put on or make it not last as long? Or would it okay to to to a wipe down of this after the conditioner for use of the anti static property's would there be a waiting period or would this not be ideal. Thanks!

Ordered the whole kit of this yesterday cant wait to give it a try!!

I'm very happy with the results I get using Leather Cleaner misted on a towel to dust, and Leather Conditioner to treat/maintain the seats, door panels, etc. I would try out this new stuff if I didn't already have a ton of the other two products. The swabs on the other hand...must buy, especially for those dreaded air vents.

I don't think I'll purchase this product.

Reasoning:

If my interior is really dirty, i'll need to use Leather and interior cleaner, followed up with LC. If its just a bit dusty i'll mist the interior with DS and wipe down with a waterless wash towel.

In my opinion, the DS and total interior detailer do the same thing.

The DS does not SP35.

I would hope detail spray doesn't have any cleaning properties in it either. TID is great for people like me who don't have leather and who's cars are very clean/new. I just want to clean dirt/dust off the interior and maintain a nice matte like new finish. The rest of my car is cloth/Alcantara.

In the past, after we completed an interior detail, weeks or months later if our interior got a little dusty, we would just mist some DS and wipe down and it was spotless again!
