McMo
Just getting ready to haul mine out of storage to get it ready and cleaned up for the season. Which Adam's products can safely be used on things like the rubber roof, and vinyl awning? Windows are obvious. I am thinking the fiberglass body can be treated like a car with a sealant and wax application. For something like this, I would think buttery would be the way to go. Any thoughts or suggestions. The stuff works so well on my car and truck, I hope most of it can also be used in this application.
Chewy
Dan, I'd treat it the same way you treat you vehicles, Car Shampoo, APC, SVRT, AQS or MSS. Buttery is awesome, but it doesn't last like a sealant. THE Mook and McMo
THE Mook
RV? I wouldn't bother with a Wax, but instead reach for a Sealant. Chewy has good advice above me. McMo
McMo
I didn't think of just using sealant. Not only does it eliminate a step, I happen to have 2 cans of AQS. Can it be applied multiple times, like before every time I head out on a trip? These things are crazy with the bug splatter.
Chewy
You can top AQS with itself, but give 30 minutes between layers. You could also put that temp clear bra material on the front to facilitate cleaning later. If you're OCD like me! MNader07
RonBoy
Go with 2 coats of AQS on the front and you can rinse off most of the bug splatter for the summer. I started using AQS last year on the front of camper and truck, makes the clean up on the return so much easier. THE Mook
You DO NOT need to wait 30 minutes to layer over QS. Ten tops.
Chewy
I was told 30 by Dylan or Adam when they first came out, but I'm good with less! THE Mook
THE Mook
I was told 30 by Dylan or Adam when they first came out, but I'm good with less! We learn and adapt as Products tell us otherwise! If it's a little bit humid, watch it, but it should be fine! I layer in this climate inside of 5 minutes usually.

utahmustang
Here is what a little waterless wash and follow up with detail spray will do after a good wash. 07masshd
I know this is an old thread but I have to say I just used adams shampoo on my tow behind camper that has been sitting for 2+yrs and WOW!!!!! I first took some diluted all purpose cleaner on the trim and washed it all off. Today for home and scrubbed the heck outta of it with the adams shampoo. My grandfather used to use all kinds of cleaners and waxes back in the day. But they never cleaned like this!!! Awesome. Chewy

sneakymeaky
Can you use swirl and haze remover to remove light oxidization on a fiberglass trailer? Then top it with fine machine polish?
RonBoy
Can you use swirl and haze remover to remove light oxidization on a fiberglass trailer? Then top it with fine machine polish? Should work fine, do a test area first. I would suggest that you try FMP first, it may take care of it, if not go to SHR followed by FMP. If you have MSS or AQS use that to protect your hard work. Good luck and show off your results.
sneakymeaky
Worked fine. Used just the swirl and haze remover, follower with the super sealant. Looks good enough. Travel trailer looks like new again
dkent
So the Super VRT is good for a epdm roof ? I will be doing my roof in the spring.
RonBoy
Not sure, would make sense with the UV protection properties. It is such a big area i use the RV roof cleaner/conditioner concentrate. Other than the roof it gets all Adam's. Let us know how it works, mine is tucked away for the winter and it is too cold to apply anytime soon here. Longhauler
I use Adams shampoo with the foam cannon and works great. I then clean the awning with the all purpose cleaner making it look like new again. I haven't tried the sealant, but thinking about getting a couple cans to help with the bugs on the front.
