Stripping fresh Quick Sealant

I am about to polish for the first time this week, but in a moment of genius I applied quick sealant two weeks ago. How would I go about stripping it? I know most people add in all purpose cleaner for older waxes but with the durability of QS im not sure it would strip it at all...

Along with claying I think you will be ok with APC wash.....

Could always do IPA if you want to also.

Thanks, guys, I was going to do an IPA wipe but I did some searching on the forum and saw roshan said about testing the IPA wipe and how it didn't work, I don't know

It might work for waxes, but I don't think it will do much against a good sealant.  

 

IPA is better used for ridding polishing residues IMO.

 

Best bet is to use a Paint Prep or Paint cleanser to be sure.

I have had success with doing a Dawn Soap wash a week after applying Quick Sealant. I fixed some halograms on a balck hood for a customer, sealed it, waited an hour and top coated with Americana. I beleive due to the high humidity that day I probably did'nt let the Quick Sealant cure long enough and some residual hazing appeared two days later, traped under the Americana. I brought the car back in and added Dawn soap mixed with some water and APC to a spray bottle. Covered the entire hood and let it dwell for about 15-20 mins. Followed that with a dawn soap two bucket wash. Dried the car and followed with IPA wipedown. Resulted in the complete stripping of the wax and sealant.

If I want to get the wax off, I have always used the "blue" dawn dish soap.  I can definitely tell the wax isn't there when I am drying the car off.
