Clay bar?

Meghan724

Question

So I have a dark grey 2013 Camaro and I have read a lot online how new cars should should be detailed with a clay bar. I am new to the whole detailing world so I don't know the best way to approach this. I did watch Adam's video with the clay bar but just to make sure, I wash, dry then clay bar? Do I need to wax the car after using the clay bar or does using the clay bar with the detail spray make it so I don't need to. Any help would be great! Thank you!

Hey Meghan,

Welcome to our little corner of the internet where everything is always spotless.

After you clay your new Camaro, wipe off the residue, then move straight into laying some sort of protection down.  I recommend Americana or Quick Sealant, or the New Buttery Wax!

Yup! You'll love the results you get after claying, but be sure to protect those results with any of the fine products mentioned. You can also try some Brilliant Glaze before the wax for a truly exceptional shine! If you're just looking to try something out though, Buttery is both affordable and awesome! Have fun!
