Blue17CamaroZL1
Well, it's not ready ... YET. For those who remember from my welcome thread, I posted the very hideous picture of our prized vehicles under 15 inches of snow: What had bothered me the most, is that we had signed the contract in September, with the contractor giving us the estimate that it should be completed BEFORE Christmas. Well here we are at the end of March and still no garage. But the good news is on the way. We spoke to the contractor and now that it's warming up, ground breaking is set to happen any day now. As of our conversation last week, they said ground breaking will most likely happen this week, but this stupid cold front we just got, along with a possible couple more inches of snow are most likely delaying it further. NEXT WEEK ... I'm seeing 50s and 60s for temperatures and no rain/snow scheduled. Even though it's still too soon for next weeks definite forecast, it's looking like we should have our garage up very shortly. As a result of the construction getting ready, unfortunately we had to dump the cars off at my parents house so they don't get damaged during construction: Stay tuned to this thread for future garage updates!!! Blue17CamaroZL1
It's going to be a 24' X 24' garage, 15 feet high (center peak) that's going to be heated and insulated. We are going to have a 25' X 24' concrete driveway connecting to the road. Just to give you an idea of where the garage is going to be. They may be hard to see in some of the pictures, but based upon the contractors plans, I mapped out the garage and driveway with the little orange hex key handles poking up from the ground. Here is where the approximate layout of the garage will be: Here is where the driveway is guessed to be: Some other assorted layout pictures, all guestimated based upon the contractors plans. Where the construction definitively gets masked off at, will be shown later:

Beemer
The day after I ordered my car in '09 I ordered my garage. If I couldn't have a garage I wouldn't have gotten the car. Of course - mine's not NEARLY as nice as yours is going to be. eric@thompsonracing.us
