Timmy8784
Which do you think is better/safer for rinseless washing? Double Soft towels or the borderless blue towels? I know the blue has a longer plush on them, would this be safer for rinseless? Let me know what you think! Thanks!
0 Beemer
I prefer the borderless blue. I wipe/dry the rinsless with single softs.
0 Chewy
The longer the fibers whether two bucket or rinseless, the safer IMO. It gives dirt more area to fall back into. This is why I don't like the MF wash mitts.
0 THE Mook
I use Single Softs. I use one for each panel...sometimes two for each panel. I don't let a towel I have used get "grit guarded" and touch my paint again.

0 Gen9Rolla
I would say borderless blues as well
0 Team Adam's
Tim, the difference between the two towels when used with Rinseless is pretty negligible. Both are extremely soft, obviously. The pile length is deeper with the Single Softs/Blues, but the Double Softs will hold more of the Rinseless solution since they are thicker. Both are going to be perfectly safe, provided your technique is solid.
0 Ricky Bobby
I use a towel similar to the Borderless blue, extra plush, long nap, 660 gsm towels. Either towel would work but like Nick said you want that long pile, so if you have both I'd use Borderless Blue, since it's more important in my opinion to have a deeper nap to pull the dirt away once its encapsulated and keep it in the towel. Use the Garry Dean method with about 5-6 borderless blues and you should have a perfect rinseless wash. I also recommend using two damp All purpose towels for drying, damp because as you know Microfiber absorbs better than when its dry. One damp towel spritzed with Waterless wash to give the initial wipe off of the surface. Then take the other towel which is basically dry to give the surface the final buff, and you should have a spotless finish when done. mtnbiker326
0 eric@thompsonracing.us
I use Borderless Blue towels for rinsing the car off, because they are blue and are color-coded to the solution. I use Single Soft Towels to dry and final wipe, because they are white and will show any dirt I missed, meaning I need to redo that panel. 0 Ricky Bobby
Not to be a sales guy but I may as well let everyone know that Eric has some awesome towels as well that he sells in case the Adam's boys ever run out of single softs/borderless blues eric@thompsonracing.us
0 mtnbiker326
I agree with those above regarding the recommendation of the borderless blues. I will also add that the single soft (borderless blues now) are not as "physically thick" as double softs and thus are easier to manage in the hand when folding into 4ths or 8ths and work into the curves of the body of the car (without getting flopped around or twisted in your hand). I also 2nd the Gary Dean method. Edited April 24, 2014 by mtnbiker326
